| According to Cinema Today, Tezuka Productions have made an option contract with film director Justin Lin regarding the live action film rights of Tezuka Osamu's manga "Dororo". Another director Ernesto Foronda has also revealed on Indiewire.com that he has been involved in the project. A Japanese live action movie of Dororo was premiered in 2007. Source: Cinema Today |

| could be amazing, but probably will be horrible - dororo is one of the most genius works by the greatest genius of manga, and is also very cinematic, but i have serious doubts it could be done right by almost any director (short of akira kurosawa, who happens to be dead).........also, if you haven't read dororo, do right now!!! |

| Nnnnnnnnnnnnn, this is the work of Osamu Tezuka falling into the hand of the guy who made the Fast and The Furious movies. This will not turn out good. I won't pretend I know how rich the story of this particular work is, but I do know how rich the story in the fast and the furious movies are not. |
