| Sadaharu in love but then the one he loved got humped by Michael Douglas the dog lol. Katsura wanting a driving license just to rent DVD's LOL! Him and Gin there and when Gin kept running him over LOL!!!! the bit where Katsura thought he saved some old guy because he let his imagination run away and it was a traffic cone! LOL! priceless!!! Then at the video store when he just gave them his wanted poster LOL! |

| This is what Gintama does best. The serious arcs feel like a bit of a drag, so these short stories are just what we needed. Katsura's imagination is brilliant, great car scene was definitely the highlight. The Sadaharu part was very good too, though. |

| Poor Sadaharu. He saw his first love doing "it" right in front of his eyes. I hope he won't be traumatized by it. Katsura "might" have become a delusional man to be honest. His imagination has been really weird lately. |

| i'm having troubles breathing right now, and it's because i though this was going to be yet another comedy masterpiece just after seeing the previews from the episode before, and... it turned out to exceed even my highest expectations. As i predicted, the first half was the least amazing and it still set a really high bar to surpass, because of the awful makeup to the poor Sadaharu, Kagura being a scoundrel commenting out loud Gintoki's private remarks in front of his crush, and of course... Madao's madao robot dog. And yes, i'm out of words for the second part, it outdid even Goku and Junior's attempt at driving school (yes, i went there). Captain Katsura has never made me laugh this hard. Does he think he will drive better with an Elizabeth eyepatch covering half his visual or referencing 1994's Speed movie? Even i in my actual childhood nightmares didn't cause all that devastation, and i remember running all the red lights, speeding because i lost control and sometimes also, somehow, driving from the passenger seat in the back (not joking). Now, i'm asking if it's a (cool) Japan thing to have an actual track in the green to learn how to drive, in italy they don't exist and still i was lucky back then that i didn't have to enter highways as is now requested. And if the episode wasn't already badass enough, everywhing is wrapped with Katsura presenting his wanted poster at the video rental store as a normal document with the straightest face. DAMN. |
