K-ON needs a 3rd season although how that would work with 2 different sides is beyond me.

I haven't read much for a while, do you read biographies? The one for Steve Jobs was pretty good.
I actually got this book as a gift, but I haven't red it yet.

last watch by sergei lukyanenko
its first part of tetralogy though
Seems good, I'll see if it's available in the Kindle store.

I like urban fantasy, mystery, supernatural mostly. Song of Ice and Fire is currently my favorite series.
My apologies, children, for I am afraid I cannot save you all.

With that look on her eyes, I agree :D

Yeah, that was funny, and she made a profile for that at the time, it was from a one-shot called "I am a piano". It looked very cute.

Hmm, I find them boring as well, I only read them when I am extremely interested in the subject of it. Which doesn't happen often.

Yes but they are easy reads. It's an urban fantasy / mystery series. Closest comparison would be Harry Potter I guess, but not really. Just read them! What else do you have downloaded? I'm sure there's some you can skip.

Martin Clash of kings ( I really need to continue ASOIAF orz), Antony Burgess A Clockwork Orange, Nabokov Lolita, Heller's Catch 22, Frank Herbert's Dune, and Bulgakov's Master and Margarita.

I think it depends on your interest in Anime, some people just watch it for few years then move on to something else, I think your dedication is great giving that you spent all that time here.

I believe I will be attached to Anime for years giving that I draw it in additional to watching it, though I may not be here forever considering the way this site tend to change(to the worst in most cases).

it has to do with overload. and the fact my business is to read really difficult books. i study philosophy and ethics and after 4 years of study and literally more then a thousand books i really grew tired of looking at any paper and reading it. even if it was a candy wrap. this year i was preparing for master entrance exam and i went back to reading those heavy duty stuff. plus learning two languages at the same time can take all your free time away.
but yeah Clash of Kings is priority.

It could be possible that you have a good 20-30 years of anime interest left.

Another reason for anime probably not leaving my life anytime soon, is that I import my games and many of these have anime styling, references, and genres which would make me want to watch anime anyway.

well its already 4 years since i actively started watching it ( i started in feb 2008 and joined here in july 2008)
i think from my current perspective ill be watching it until i die
its same as reading a book, watching a movie or listening to music to me. so i dont see any reason why i would quit anime. but maybe i wont be as much on the forum as i am now.

i dont think MAL has changed for the worse either. it was always terrible except for this thread.

All sites change. It is inevitable. Some get bored and move on, some stay on, new people come in, and sometimes the flavor changes and then more people leave. It's unavoidable and part of life. Be ready, or someone may move your cheese for you.

Sure, due to the way the site was managed, the user experience got greatly affected, causing a great number of regulars to leave the site, which made it even worse(there was technical issues that contributed to that too), sometimes I think the management of this site care about their servers and the ads cash much more than the users. Which is true seeing how very few enhancements are done to the site.
