| I thought the series would start from where the OVA left off, but it looks like it's more of a retelling of the story. What happened at the end of the episode kinda threw me off there. Overall, it was an okay episode. |

Since i haven't seen yet and the other episodes I gotta say that I have low expectations for this anime cause this episode annoyed me a lot -specially cause of that little blonde brat- Only the (i don't know what really is,I guess I ll find out soon) "imaginary world" gave me the reason to want to see more than 1st episode... |

| Well that was nteresting, to say the least. The CGI was bad and really noticeable. Kuroi is really autistic The only thing I could think througohut the whole episode was "lesbians" I like Kaguri, though she's a real chuunibyou I am really interested in this alternate world Same face syndrome is prevalent in this art style I think if the CGI scenes were drawn, it would make for some incredible art and imagery. The ED was kinda...it would've been a lot better if it was sung by a real seiyuu and not a vocaloid, I think |
| Great start of this Anime I was surprised it started of that epic, the whole episode was quite interesting the other world or what you may call it was quite fucked up but the whole story was interesting to watch! The ED was also quite nice I do wonder was it song by Hatsune Miku? "Vocaloid" Either way from the first episode I rate this anime a 8/10 let's see if the rating will change over the coming 7 episodes! |

| I know nothing about the OVA before watching this. So I don't get why people are bashing this too much. The art for the highschool girls are too rough for my liking but I guess this is one of those unconventional anime like Madoka. I gotta say I like the alternative world better than the slice of life "real" world. Let's see how it goes. |

| I watched the OVA as soon as it came out in 2012 or before so I'm pretty used to that version. I must say that I do not like this at all. I guess it's been all about friends all along. I used to think it was some maniacal world that Mato had to connect to but now I know that this world is linked to their emotions and this isn't really happening, it's just an emphasis of things. This idea can be beautiful, yes but I'm one who was searching for action so this was a no-go for me. The animation was terribly done as well.. I'm not sure if I should even continue. I don't like the changes either. Whateverrrrrrrrrrrr. |

| So from what I gather the regular world is the main focus and the over the top CGI battles are a visual representation of Mato Kuroi's imagination towards real life events. If anything it would make for good visual fun but I don't expect anything deep or layered from this show |

| The art from the OVA was a LOT better, but i'm interested to see where this takes us. It was a little confusing at the start there but it fell into place toward the end. The episode did drag on a bit though, it felt longer then the OVA... It also felt like i was watching two different shows, which was actually pretty cool cause it broke up all the talking with action. |

| First episode was okay, didn't understand how she was in a different environment as the black rock shooter, might have to watch the OVA or continue watching too see if i would like it. Though the fight scene was nice. |

| Quite the introducton, mysterious, yet I feel that there's a lot more in-depth and that there's some psychological occurrence that Mato isn't aware of yet due to Saya-sensei mentioning that "someone else" within you (BRS) is enduring all the negative feelings and emotions that you feel in the real world. Seeing Dead Master chain up and holding back BRS represents to me Yomi's uncertainty about the friendship that Mato is trying to push toward while BRS knows that Kagari (Chariot) is the barrier conflicting that relationship from ever happening. You can hear Kagari say: "Go home" echo throughout her mind and the disturbed, doll-like stare develops fear in Mato. |

| This looks great! I've been meaning to check this out for quite some time, and that first episode was fantastic! All of her emotions displayed into fighting sequences? I love it! This show so far looks like it might be a bit brutal emotionally, which makes the fighting scenes that much better. I am going to enjoy this one. |

| Rewatching: Such a strong first episode, instantly reminding me again why this deserved a spot in my top 5 favourite anime list. It gets so much done in just the first episode... and it does it so well, it manages to reach my feels, despite being only just introduced to these characters. It feels so sad to see Mato get treated badly by Kagari who wants to claim Yomi for herself, and Yomi not being able to talk about it with her. And despite being hurt by it, she doesn't want to give up on Yomi and continues to try to be friends with her. And having all their feelings towards each other shown in epic battles makes it all the better. I mean, without the awesome fighting scenes, this anime wouldn't be -that- much special (it might still be good, but it'd be a lot more generic). |

| This show will be much better if its focus only on action scene, yeah pure action episode. The hype is real for the ED Animation. All the character design is cool and badass. 3.2/5 |

| Pretty good start. I already saw the OVA few months ago and finally I have some time for these episodes. Karagi is such a possessive and creepy little bitch. I like Yomi's shy personality. I hope she and Mato will become good friends. |

| A better start, atleast from that OVA if nothing else. Can already see some of the differences, of which the inclusion of that blondie being the most visible one, and for sure she's creepy af. Poor Mato, got brutally harassed. |
