| Naive Simpletons, couldn't they tell that those kicks didn't do shit to kullua, i mean the guy landed on the grand with his hands in his pockets lol. I like how Kurapica analysis any given situation and tries to think of every possibility to come up with a conclusion. Just like playing a game of chess. He is very smart. lmao, Gon, opening his mouth to show he brushes his teeth. I thought that party was funny. Well it seems like leoro finally found his target but in doing so, all 3 of them got them self's in quite the pickle. Wonder how they are going to get out of this one? Looks like next episode is the final episode of the 4th stage of the exam. |

| Not much to say about Killua. He's been pretty disinterested the whole Exam, save for the ball game. Oh course, when Leorio calls out, they run in anyway. >__>; It's nice to finally see a female we can take seriously. Tonpa acted like she wasn't anything to worry about, but that she defeated the snake charmer implies otherwise, I think. Fun episode. I wonder how they'll get out of the cave. |

| Killua was so cool this episode and it was really heartwarming to see Kurapika and Gon try to give up all of their tags to save Leorio. Should be interesting to see how they get out of this trap! |
| Well, the only way I see for them to get out of this mess alive is if Killua find them, since poison have less effect on him. He could manage to kill the snakes. Killua really owned the brother trio and especially that ninja. Poor ninja dude, really is unlucky xD |

That what makes the original more memorable than the remake after all those years. I actually strongly disagree with this. The 2011 series has been better in almost every regard, in my opinion. As someone who started out with the series by reading the manga, the 1999 series was often a disappointment because the type of filler they employed. Rather than keeping it seperate from canon moments (or writing filler that shows what the characters did outside of canon moments), the 1999 series' strategy was to alter the material in Togashi's manga. Conversations and dialogue, art style, direction, etc. So much was different that it became hard to even see it in the same light as the manga. This doesn't mean that I dislike the 1999 series, but it fails at being a faithful adaptation. And many of those creative choices led to problems in the future, which ended up contradicting things in the manga. I almost see the 1999 series as an alternate universe rather than a full adaptation of Togashi's work. yes! that's how it is with me. although i am so stoked on how the '99 is. ------ freaking yeesh. gon was KNOCKED OUT? dang.... and how well killua's trick was done! that was great. you were expecting a super epic beat-em-up battle like the prisoner from killua, no? well i'm glad that it wasn't that way. he had no need nor had any interest of killing them, he let himself get punched around a bit, then was like "Yeah, ok well...I'm taking your numbers now,ok?" really simple. loved it. you can be epic without the stereotypical "being epic", and HXH proves this. although for some reason i had a hunch that the "Baaaka" wasn't directed at the brother. it seemed to out of place to what he said to killua to respond like that. that speed/teleportation trick was beyond cool, though. it was made even more epic with the FX (listen to it in headphones!). and dang killua! that throw tho! jeez! imagine what the older family can do! |

| Ponzu looked waaaay cuter than in the 1999 version!I love it! If Killua was with them, he could just move forward, killing the snakes rapidly without having to worry about any venom because he said that he's unaffected by poison |

| Everything's going really well for Killua with his overwhelming fighting skills and all but he's oughta run into Gon and friends eventually because he's the only one among them who's completely unaffected by poison. I know that Gon can do it too but he'll have a pretty difficult time doing so. I wish that Leorio will be able to do some actual fighting and win on his own too but I'm certain that the moment he does that will become one of the most rewarding moments in the anime thus far. He did kill all those snakes on his own after all. |
