| For me, any length is ok if the anime is really good. like [fish](I am not sure the translation of the anime) it was written by Junji Ito.(I suggest read the manga) It had only one episode but really shocked me.Uhm...it is impressive. | Depends on the anime. Certain titles just work better at 12-13 or 24-26 episodes. For really high quality series I'd rather it be shorter and hold on to its' quality instead of dragging it out and degrading the series somewhat. But I'm also the type that really really loves a long anime that is enjoyable, if it's just a 7-8 out of 10 series to begin with I don't really care if they drag it out as long as it entertains me and I can keep enjoying the characters and plot. |

| It'll Depend on the anime.. if the anime is good and can be over 20 episodes then thats fine, but if its starting to get all boring and repetitive then it should be around12 or so episodes, I don't really like watching anything over 50 though:P |

If you like it, it doesn't matter how many eps there are. I've enjoyed some short OVA's. 2. I find I enjoy a large percentage of two season presentations. 3. If it is great keep going. I loved Monster, Legend of the Galactic Heroes and a lot of Matsumoto, Leiji stuff and made it through half of Bleach, and wished they had kept going with Black Lagoon . |

| It generally depends on how long the manga is and how they decided to end the anime. With Fruits Basket I feel 26 episodes was much too short. And while I haven't watched it, I noticed Deadman Wonderland has only 12 episodes which I highly, highly doubt is enough to give the show justice considering how many chapters the manga has. So I guess how many episodes just doesn't really matter to me. What matters is what they do with those episodes. |

| while I prefer 12-13 episodes due to shorter length, I find that it's usually not enough time to go through a whole story. most of my highest rated anime is 24-26, so even though I'd like to say a 12-13 episode length is best for me, I'd probably have to stay 24-26. |

| Depends on the story being told. Some need 24-26 or even 50 episodes. Others can make do with 12-13. Of course, I prefer the Precure to stay near 50 even if it is a simple story. |

Please enlighten us, how can focusing on the quality of a series rather than the quantity possibly be a negative thing? Certain anime are better off at 13 eps, some are better at 26, and a few even need 80+ to run its' full course and still be able to maintain quality. (ie. Monster, Legend of the Galactic Heroes) Err, unless you were saying that in response to Lisnoire's personal preferences, which would be a little ridiculous. |
