I honestly don't care as long as it's good and I don't feel unsatisfied or something.

I don't care about length. It only pisses me off when the anime is rushing things or it's too slow.

I can handle endless anime if it was still airing and I was caught up.

I usually marathon everything, and anything over 40 is just too long.

12-24 episodes all the way. That way I can get more variety in on a regular basis.

Well, I prefer short-medium animes, between 20 and 30 episodes, a short anime cannot show his story in 13 episodes, 24 is perfect. obviously, if the anime is really amazing (like fma) i prefer that it be longer

I prefer medium, the usual 20-26 episode series.

I agree with you there! ~OxO)~
It doesn't matter to me if anime is long, short, or medium....as long as it keeps my interest, I will continue to watch! *^^*

Short to medium.
I don't like filler episodes, it's the main reason I generally avoid shounen anime even though I love the manga it's based on. Not to mention the animation quality of longer anime tend to be worse than the shorter ones. On the contrary, art in manga tend to get better over long period of time.
Simply put, I like reading long manga but can't stand watching long anime.

Odd, seeing as the most dominate long running anime started back in standard def days I'd say they all improved in animation quality over time.

I didn't mean they don't improve. What I mean is if you compare a 300+ episodes anime with 12 episodes one, the shorter one usually have better animation quality.

A lot of 12-13 episode tend to not finish the story, which can get really annoying.
So i'd say I prefer 24-25 episode ones, and as many seasons as it needs to finish the story.

24 episodes seems to be the sweet spot for me. More seems to drag on and less seems unfinished sometimes.
I have to believe that when things are bad I can change them

Short (1 cour) to medium (2 cour) for me. 2 cour shows are really the best, 'cause the length allows the series to end gloriously avoiding fillers and cliffhangers.
Long anime shows (4 cour+) for me are tiring, though there are few exceptions like Sket Dance, Gintama, FMAB, HnG!, Reborn, and Fairy Tail.
But the length of a show is one of the lowest points to consider.

I would have to say medium lenght animes as a standard choice but it really depends on the story, and which anime it is. (^-^)V

Why would any story want to avoid cliffhangers?

That looks like you're saying anime doesn't improve.

Don't got no problem with medium animes.
I HATE long animes! It takes to long to finish and i want to watch other animes aswell.
I prefer short animes but when it comes to animes like angel beats i just wished that it had more episodes. I just didn't wanted it to end so quickly.

Depends mostly on how good the anime is for me.

That said, shit like the size of One Piece is bad and always will be bad, milking to the extreme.

I tend to avoid long anime, because it gets to a point where there's a filler.. and I get bored with it.. and then drop it. it's happened to me before.. (Specifically.. when I was younger.. Naruto and Inuyasha did that, also Bleach..) I was like Oh hey.. an anime!~.. 50 episodes in great.. 100.. okay.. 150.. nvm, too long has fillers.. wasted time. So as a result I tend to stray away from those longer animes. It's a bad trait.. as I am kind of leaning toward watching Fairy Tale.. but I just noticed there's a HUGE filler arc which really turned me off on it.

So medium/short it is.. although again.. some short animes tend to end too fast and it's rushed.
There are some exceptions... like Angel Beats! Although it was short.. and rushed.. it was still enjoyable.

Medium anime's are great because they develop on all characters a lot more, instead of blatantly saying "This is my past.", they actually bring in something/someone to inspire an event for a flashback/explanation which is great, because :
1. it creates an episode.. 2. it keeps your attention and makes you learn more about the character.
Some of my favorite characters.. are side characters. Like Wolfwood in Trigun (He's a side character, but nonetheless he's one of my favorites)

Depends on the content if it's awesome I like it to be long. If its only average and you feel like its starting to get boring I prefer it to be shorter.

In my opinion, anything over 25 or so is too much. If you're going to have more than 25 episodes, have multiple seasons instead.

Generally short, 12 - 24 episode animes always seem to be of better quality then those that drag on until the end of time~
This is my signature place holder.

If its a mystery anime, it usually should range between 12-25 episodes. If its a action anime with a good plot, I'd say 50 episodes or maybe more. If its an anime with a never-ending plot then Naruto, Gintama, One Piece, Bleach, etc, then 200+ episodes would suffice. The thing with long animes, the plots always feel very weak and not sticking to one main thing. It always gets separated into different categories and arcs. Blahblahblah, usually I don't enjoy very short animes. Angel Beats and Another is an exception.

I prefer short anime cuz they don't eat up my time. I actually don't mind if it's medium if there's a good storyline, such as Code Geass. However, if it's too long, then I don't even wanna watch it, because you can't call it a story without an ending.

I really don't mind the length of the anime however longer ones have a larger chance of becoming boring as they go on.
