| Thank God they lost couz on how unexperienced they are in Nationals and they still all 1st year so its understandable.They have a lot to improve and learn. At least they manage to put a good fight especially Taichi |

| Lmao those 5 cards Chihaya took really stirred the Queen up. I was surprised to hear that Sudo lost by way less cards than Chihaya. I mean, Chihaya did beat Sudo after all. Kinda weird. Wow, so even the Queen trains diligently despite having overwhelmed all of her opponents by a landslide. That's respectable. |

| Its sad that they lost but also understandable considering they are a newly formed club of 2 newbies and 3 members who didn't play Karuta in school with only Chihaya practicing during that time with the association. Still impressive how far they've come with a bright future ahead. |

| 5 cards. Pretty decent for the first try against the reigning queen I'd say. And she also managed to annoy the queen to the point of her wanting to remember who she'd faced and motivating her to improve her own skills. Add on to that that she knows where to improve - speed and memory - and I'd say she got a fair bit out of this loss. The same goes for Taichi, who now knows that he needs to focus on stamina. And also directly notices that the same would be a problem for anybody else in their club who would play in a final. All in all a good episode. Not sure what to do with Oe not wanting to hold Nishida's hand after that being the ship apparently pushed last episode - or Nishida not noticing for being too focused on the karuta match for that matter. Running animation at the end felt weird. As if the were only moving their arms every second step... |

| That ‘2nd place hurts the most’ line is so deep…it seems better to be further away from victory because it’s easier to cope/get over the fact that you lost than to be so close but still lose damn |
