Profanity doesn't bother me at all. I probably cuss out loud, about 100 times a day, mind you, I am at home with my parents. At school the number is probably much higher, at maybe 300.

What I consider Profanity: (caution, this might offend some)

I try my best not to swear much but when I lose my temper I will come out with alot of nasty shiz including a few of those ^. I don't particularly get offended by it if I hear someone cussing, there are times in life when it helps xD

I occasionally curse, but not as much as I do online. I curse the most around my mom - hey, she gave me permission to cuss freely, why the hell not? xD

Maybe...once a day? If I get hurt and I'm alone, I'll say a few swear words. If I'm not alone, I say "Fudgenutters" or something.
I curse a lot on MSN when I get irritated, not sure if that counts.

Cursing doesn't bother me. Most of my friends swear their hearts out every day.

Probably 51-100 when I actually talked to people. I only use fuck and damn for cursing, "Fucking idiot/st00pid" directed at any member of my family and "shit" instead of "stuff".

If damn, crap, and hell count as profanity, then I guess I do. However, I always say I don't, considering the other stuff I hear around me. Heck, I never said damn or hell (extremely infrequently anyway) till maybe a couple years ago. I always said darn or heck, and still do a majority of the time. Although it doesn't bother me when other people use it, I do dislike swearing. Somewhat related, I also have cut down on how much I say suck, and just use other more effective adjectives.

I try to limit the profanity, but when I'm pissed, then it's over. Luckily that doesn't happen all the time :D

Derogatory term for a Jew. It isn't really used that often anymore.

I tend to stay away from racial slurs aswell, they are just too risky and they piss people off way too fast.

I have a redneck cousin who thinks that he can say N whenever he wants, so we were talking about it one day, and I asked him if he would ever call a black person a N to their face, and his reply was "Sure, they know I'm a minor so if they did anything they would go to jail." Mind you, he is 17. I was actually pretty shocked he was that fucking stupid. I mean it is one thing to refer to them as that when among other white folks, but shouting "Hey, you fuckin' N!" right to a black man's face, regardless of your age, is just looking for trouble.

I really hope he gets the shit beat out of him so he will learn his lesson. >_>

I curse whenever I feel like it. Sometimes when I don't know I'm doing it so...26-50 (your vote).

I hate hearing racial slurs from other people. Especially around where I live you happen to hear the N word waaaaaay too much. That word just needs to stop being said. .___.

Doesn't stop people saying it though, tbh.

That is one form of cursing I am against.

I enjoy taking a page from Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino (meaning, I say fuck, shit, or cock in nearly every other sentence). I rarely use racial slurs, though, and never in a derogatory way.

Assuming you're talking about the United States, I don't think so. But as you can guess it's extremely frowned upon.

I don't swear often because I don't talk a lot throughout my day.

I don't mind swearing, although I am more careful if I think it might get me in trouble, but I don't use it that much because if you say words like that constantly, they lose their punch. Maybe several times a day only, a lot more if I get injured or really mad. This is an increase from high school when I rarely used it (to the point that if I swore, people would be really surprised).

Like many here I avoid the racial terms and terms insulting homosexuals etc. because I am pretty easily offended on that score.

I cuss frequently in real life, and in my mind, but online, I use racial slurs like a KKK klansmen. Regarding racial slurs, as the great comedian/philosopher George Carlin once said: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKHmlK8xFxc

Other than that, I say "What the hell!" a lot but yeah...

On working days probaply around 26-50, on free days alot less. I spend most off my working time in traffic with a priority vehicle (public transport) so that kind off explains it. I see people do stuff that is mindboggling to say the least.

I voted none. If I remember correctly, my lifetime count is up to three. If non-verbalized ones were counted it would be none on a good day and 11-25 on a bad one, though if the day was horrible it would be even higher.

It almost never bothers me when other people do it, but I find it annoying when people use it constantly when it is unnecessary.

I don't curse. Personally, I think it's pretty immature and quite idiotic as to how some people think they are so much "cooler" when they do curse. But then again, what can I say? I'm just a good little Buddhist boy. :D

I don't go around purposely spurting out profanities, but I don't avoid using them either. How much I curse has everything to do with what's going on, where I am, and who I'm with. I still don't typically swear all that much though.

I think swearing and profanity is kind of a stupid topic. I don't tend to focus on specific words as I do offensive speech and ignorance. However, I do know when its not appropriate to use certain words (as some people don't appreciate things like hell or damn)....but tend to love using "fuck that" or "fucking kill me" in talks with friends.

I think its absolutely absurd when people go out of their way not to curse ever even in the most casual of settings. I've heard people say things like oh what the........ shiz! just say it...who cares. No one.

I don't think using certain words really makes someone look less intelligent, but there is a limit. The two things I wish I could break the habit of saying ever would be 'gay' and 'retarded'. There are just so many better things to say instead!

I don't think about it, cause it's not an issue to me. Freedom of speech is in the first amendment, so why the hell should I care? Censorship is a crock of shit and just another way of making the world "safer" and more "comfortable" for the children. YOu know what I say? Fuck the children! Let them learn early about how much the world sucks, they actually might become independent and not rely on other people to do their shit.

I haven't cursed in 4 years (since I was 11). Because when I did do it, I found out that I had lost respect from my elders and peers. Therefore, I don't do it and in response people don't do it around me and the overall vibe is just better. And using other words is sometimes more fun for a conversation.

Another plus is using words against people that they don't know. Just yesterday I called a guy a stupid Gnu and he didn't know how to react. He was so used to hearing other words. :D
