| 1 hour episode, interesting. This show is so crazy, very weird, yet it feels fresh by today standards, it is different from the cute high school stuff, though it's doesnt feel like a great show, I hope it would turn out to be. |

| An hour long episode for the premiere. Kind of interesting, you don't see too many anime do that. I really like the art style and directing, but the animation feels like a mixed bag, sometimes looking really impressive and other times looking a bit cheap. It also looks like there were a couple of digital shots thrown in among all of the CEL animation, or am I imagining things? Anyway, it kind of feels all over the place, but it's certainly got some impressive looking moments. I hope it stays more consistent going forward. I kind of like Onizuka as a character so far, but his perverted side makes him feel a bit too much like other serious/pervy characters out there like Sanji or Ryo Saeba. However, so far I think he isn't written as well as those two. I do enjoy his monologues whenever he gets serious though, and I think there's some room for development, so I'll see if he grows on me. As for the story, for this first episode it took a few interesting turns and was overall a pretty nice intro to the series, but I'm kind of underwhelmed by the unrealistic nature of a few of the scenes. Meh, I guess I'll just suspend my disbelief and see where things go from here. The next episode preview makes it look like Onizuka is taking on another odd job. I wonder how soon it'll be before he goes back to being a teacher. |

| Wow everything down to the bashing the wall with a hammer, the live action series was accurate. Onizuka's imagine spots with the gold frame are hilarious. |

| I don't remember GTO to be ecchi lol but I'm not complaining. I watched this way back when, when it aired here and I was still little. Don't remember much about it aside from it's fun so I thought why not re-watch it? |

| I don't know if I gonna hate or like this show. But kinda like it and it got me interested at the end. I'm annoyed with rich problem of Nana and she nearly end Onizuka's career! (If I'm Onizuka, I will slap her!) That's why there's bitch / slut, it's because of stupid pervert guys!! Onizuka's way is not ordinary but it moves people though. That's nice! |

| Ok, that was fun. Though I'm not sure if I'm gonna like it or not. There were quite a few laughs but there are some uncomfortable scenes lol but it was done in humorous way. The OP is really cool and the ED is catchy. Mizaki is such a brat and Onizuka got some words of wisdom. If there will be more I don't mind giving this a high score |
| That was a GREAT introduction to the show, I can see why Onizuka is a lot of people's favorite. Aside from the creepy pedophilic jokes, Onizuka has a lot of redeeming qualities. The class cried when he was leaving at the end, I know for sure that the class will be US crying by the end of this show. |
| I finally got around to watching this. I've heard good things, and I think I could warm up to it. Wasn't sure what to think the first 30 mins, but it kept me entertained the second half. |

| Did not remember this premiere being 1 hour long, but I'll take it. Nice to rewatch this show after 4 years, and the first episode was a good introduction and start to this wild adventure of the 'greatest teacher' ever. |

| I didn't realize it was 40 minutes.. it felt so fast. Nanako's voice is quite annoying especially when she says "sensei" haha but it's really fun to watch! Also ED song is nice. |

| I actually looked back at my MAL and I don't think I've seen anything with this good of a first episode. Also not gonna lie. if that guy was my professor I'd show up to class every day 15 minutes early without fail. |
| Well it was better than I expected after watching the prequel, still kinda meh. I thought he would keep that class, but it seems like he'll switch classes all the time? Sounds a lot like Golden Boy to me, but with more annoying characters. |
| I wasn't expecting a 40+ minute first episode. There are so many stuff to talk about. Definitely covered a lot of the manga I imagine. I like the overall vibe Onizuka-sensei is producing. Though it's still not clear why he wants to be a teacher and the greatest one at that. It can't just be for 16 yo bride, right? Too bad we won't see much of Ryuji in this anime... I liked him more than Onizuka in Shonan Junai Gumi! This anime might make me love Onizuka more... Hoping this will be a fun ride.
