| Not much happened until the officer tried to arrest Marika at the cafe then all hell broke lose and Marika and Chiaki had to make a break for it, the real action will start next episode. Marika is pretty likable and Chiaki with her tall, dark, and bishoujo personality as well and my she has a bit of a weakness to sweets. |

| That was about 8x better than what I expected. In fact, I didn't even see any fanservice. (I saw miniskirt and expected some XD) It had a great introduction... Anyways, that was great. I love that theres finally an anime (that I know of) that uses pirates (other than OP). The hairstyles are a little annoying, but I'm liking it so far. Will watch! :D |

| I loved the first ep. Despite being called Miniskirt Pirates they neither went with fanservice nor moe. Instead they delivered a straightforward sci-fi adventure story with a basic plot that could have worked in a traditional pirate setting as well. I am very pleased. |
| This show was entertaining glad its trying to be something it's not. I love the high technology in the show. So far one of the best new shows i saw so far this season. I'm so damn glad they finally have a female lead character thats not annoying yet. |

| So glad its licensed. I cant wait to get it. It went much better than I expected. All of the major characters are interesting, Ririka-san is an epic pirate whom better stay throughout the series, I hope, Kane McDougal brings me all the laughs, and Chiaki Kurihara is pretty cool. banana parfait scene was awesome. Graphics and animation were nice, and the theme song, though seemingly like a glorious mess was quite catchy. I loved it. but this, lol.   |

| It was alright but one thing that bugged me was when the gun fight broke out Chiaki and Marika just left Marika's coworkers all alone, but i bet the coworkers wont be dead next ep. |

| Well, I actually expect this anime would be good, but it was better what I think. It's a old style anime but you can't hate that. ^_^ I can't remember which one that are simliar to the main character but I kind of like her. Oh yeah who have even hear about a legal space pirate? Even pirate is not legal. Hmm.. I guess they aren't that bad. :) Don't you think home security is a bit complicated? The number she pressed, eye scanned security, very nice :) |

| WHY? The black haired girl already reminds me of Kuroneko in Oreimo, but it turns out they have the same seiyu (I like her) and they speak in the same manner... -.- It's kind of boring I think? But it's better than I expected, well, it doesn't have any annoying fanservice, I'm happy about it! And Chiyaki Omigawa is part of the cast, so I got one more reason to watch this anime! AND THE OP SONG IS SO ANNOYING! -.- And I think I'm the only one who think like that... |

| I really enjoyed it. The older style works with the settings, and I like the character design so far. Marika looks great and her character is likable. The animation doesn't seem noteworthy: at least I didn't cringe at anything. Music? If there were BGMs used, they didn't really leave an impression, but that OP... It is glorious. It's pretty hilarious how some anons on /m/ are complaining about the lack of action or about the "slow pacing". IMHO this episode gave a solid introduction to some of the characters, and the world in which this story takes place in. Nearly 5/5. |

| Marika's design is so lovely, and she seems likable. Nice to see a new space opera, don't get these too often anymore. Not a great first episode, but a good one. Don't know what to expect but it has potential. I just have to worry about this: Are the light novels finished? I don't think they are...? If so, that's a worrying point for me. Though I am getting so sick of the transfer student shit. Mysterious transfer student comes in, and I can already guess the scenario: She'll walk past the MC when going to her seat, glance at her, the MC will be confused. Later on she'll approach the MC all ~mysteriously~ for good measure. One more thing: very interesting setting so far, even though they aren't even out in space yet |

| The OP was awesome! You don't normally expect something like power metal when you go into a 'cute girls' show, so it really put me into a unique mood and set the tone for the show, which, like the OP, seems to be more than it seems on the surface. I really like the main character and I can see her being one of those unique and strong female MCs later down the road. I also love Hanazawa in more aggressive roles (Kamisama Dolls used that well). The first episode was a little slow but hopefully it's not like Guilty Crown's slowness in getting the main character into the situation we all know they are going to end up in, if so I can see myself really liking this show. |

| The atmosphere was even better than I expected. Liking it even more than Symphogear's first episode, didn't expect that. Really liking the futuristic setting, though I do hope there's gonna be some more pirate aspects besides the outfit. |

| Legal space pirates? Interesting. Im not as impressed as I was with Senki Zesshou Symphogear. I'll keep watching and hope it doesn't suck as much as Mirai Nikki or Guilty Crown. |
