This episode was decent. Damn that lieutenant guy had a generic design he was just Ichigo with black hair. That captain is pretty cool though we got to see his mean streak here. And yeah that was nice how what he said about pride and letting people fight on their own, tied in to what Rukia would say to Ichigo years later. |

| I mean... I get the Captain's POV but at the same time, I don't. Why be a bystander at this point? --especially when Kaien's Zanpaktou was completely destroyed; I'm sure the lieutenant's dead comrades would want him to fight and live rather than fight and die. I know I would if I was one of the comrades or his wife. I'll have to agree with Rukia on this: "Who cares about pride? What's pride compared to one's life?" But eh, that was tragic to watch... :/ |
