Hope he get's more time in the second part, even in the state he's currently in... 4. Caster. I mean seriously? He's the first anime character ever to actually creep me out. Not even Higurashi mannaged that. 5. Saber. Just as knightly as ever. And that's what we love her for. |

| 1. Iskander & Weaver: Yes I know, I'm sort of cheating here, but their banter is both epic and hilarious. 2. Gilgamesh: He seems to be other fan favorite around these parts, and although he is an epic badass, I choose him not because of his gigantic ego, and overpowered battle skills, but because of his sly manipulations of Kirei. Their dialogue is Shakespearian even. And I can't really create an ordered list for all the rest, most of the main cast is very well fleshed out, they all have their own character arcs, and I just can't choose between them. Interesting to note, I found Saber's character way more compelling in Zero. In the F/SN anime I practically hated her for her cold demeanor. It was a bit better in the vn's Fate route, but still I found her very robotlike, and mostly uninteresting. At least until Zero. So I don't really get how everyone else seem to have her in their top 5 characters. Oh well, for each their own. |

| I have not watched any of this as yet, I am waiting for season 2 to finish, then I'll watch it all. My leanings for favorite character right now would be Irisviel von Einzbern and Saber! Of course, I haven't seen Loli Rin yet, so who knows? She is my favorite from Fate/Stay Night. |

| Rider -- This bearded boisterous bruiser is a man after my own heart. Kamina's got NOTHING on Broskander! The dynamics between him and Waver are awesome. Emiya Kiritsugu -- One of the most villainous heroes around. Then comes his proto-Homura backstory... daaamn. Him, along with Rider, prove that characters don't have to be diabetes-inducing little girls to evoke that much sympathy. Saber -- Something's appealing about a bitter paladin. Especially one who can pull off such a wicked, green-eyed glare 'neath Nordic hair. Total badass. Caster -- By Odin's beard! Remember what I said about vile villains? Heeere he is! Don't ever let him babysit. Archer -- Can't help but love to hate this arrogant son of a biscuit-eater. |

Irisviel von Einzbern (she would be third if she didn't date that cheating Kiritsugu Emiya. I don't know what she saw in him.) 4. Waver (He was Rider's buddy, so of course I like him. I like how he seemed like the only normal character. People are saying he acted like a wimp but if this was actually real. They would probally be acting the same way.) 5. Lancer (Would have been fourth if he didn't seem so much like a pet to his master, and if he didn't blame Saber for something she couldn't control. I think Emiya used a command seal to make her go along with taking him down.) 6. Natalia Kaminski (She seemed like a bad ass character, I wish she have lived so we could see more of her.) I don't really care for any of the other characters because they are either bad or boring, and I don't like the evil or boring characters. |

Kiritsugu used his first spell to order Saber to return to the storehouse where Iri was, and the other two were used to destroy the grail. Kiritsugu acted alone and didn't tell Saber of his plans, so she was in the dark the entire time. Also, considering that no one knows of their stained relationship (Besides Iri), everybody thought that they had a common Servant and Master relationship. The way everything was during the scene, it looked that they had a plan to take out team Lancer with using Saber a bait to lure away Lancer and threatening his master to surrender behind his back. From the Servant's prespective, it looked like Saber was a part of this scheme. |

| I am going to have to say ryuunosuke uryuu, the man had some very interesting philosophy as far as murdering children is concerned and i love the way how he and caster become BFF's instantly. Second would have to be Rider just because he was badass and had the best facial hair that i've seen in a while. |
