Language and culture suits me. If I do math my brain will implode.

I majored in Software Engineering, but I would not classify that as what I love to do. Although do not get me wrong, I enjoy it and have always enjoyed the math involved, also creating things. I really enjoy literature though. While I myself am a rather poor writer, reading is probably my most cherished and loved hobby, on a variety of subjects that touch on all 3 of the options.

I can not draw either, but I do have a healthy respect for artists and musicians alike. All in all I value all three, and can not prioritize one above another, even though the educational system likes to do that. =)

I'd say I like Art, Music, Science and Math.
But since I can't do that, I picked Art and Music because you can express an idea, not through words but through the art.

Well I'm terrible at math, but I like Scinece especially Astronomy since I was little and I wanted to study it but math+me=not good result :((But still I read books about it and I want to buy a telescope but it's expensive)
I enjoy Scinece since is logical and can explain almost everything in this world, but also I like Language/social and I find them very interesting since it's a human way of communication with each other!!!
And Art/Music is interesting, it's a way of communication too, but more to your sensitive and emotional side...

And I like to read books(a lot of them) because I want to try and learn everything If that's possible!!!

math/science more important

the engineer/scientist who designs engines, bridges, vaccines for viruses is more important that one that studies languages, history or writes harry potter.

I do philosophy, which is kinda like the maths of the arts. :) I love music and singing and other artsy things but I think that philosophical insights and viewpoints make up the foundations of great artistic masterpieces, and that makes me value it as a subject more than any other. ^_^

Geeeez, you guys. I pulled a face at how many of you out there voted for the Math/Science option. (I'm kidding; I'm kidding). I'm just a Language/Social kind a girl, I guess. That, and science and math courses total butcher my GPA.

Art easily.... I was never the sharpest tool in the shed and spent 3/4 of my time in school drawing and have managed to turn it into something decent

Music, I like language as well though (I do actually like science sometimes, depending on topics, such as in physics I hate mechanic but I like waves).

Love Chemistry above all. The other sciences are kind of neat, but I'm not big on maths.

Chemistry aside I appreciate language, art, literature & films and music a lot. So it's hard to single out solely science / maths or humanities. But, chemistry is the bomb.

Eh. I know there are some MALers who think social science is a waste of time, but I am majoring in sociology and human biology, and hate math and language, so there doesn't seem to be a place for me here.

I like language/social and art/music but my favorite is math/since especially physics. :) Maybe it's because I suffer from this:

Art/Music (your vote)

Language/Social would have been my second.

I'm surprised to see Math/Science in the lead.

Language/Social, although I find Art/Music more fun. I'm better at languages and social studies on a whole though.

I am going to school for wildlife biology/mammalogy/ or zoology. But I am also quite interested in quantum physics. Its just so amazing. like for example Light is both a particle and a wave. Time slows around objects of huge sizes... such as the pyramids. I just love it. If I didn't have my love of animals I would go to school for quantum physics. :)

I like all of it, really. All of the subjects are good, I guess social studies is the one I like the least.

But as school subjects? They all suck.
School science isn't actual science, school art and music aren't actually art and music, school maths isn't interesting maths.
School languages are okay, but they could be done much better.

They could be done a lot worse, I am sure...

My experience of conversing with Swedish native speakers, they have had a consistently high standard of English. Correct application of grammar, good spelling, wide vocabularies and natural, flowing sentences.

Compare this to native English speakers, who (in my country at least) don't even do foreign languages properly until highschool.

That aside, what they teach you in School is important but not in a sense of direct application. I did the Sciences from the earliest opportunity until the final years of high school and would summarise the experience as a web of lies.

Maybe that is a bit dramatic since they are not really lies as much as 'simplifications of the truth' but I would be cautious about taking anything that one has learned in highschool science classes to be an absolute 'fact'.

The best learning comes from self-motivated study anyway. I am reading a few books on Philosophy right now for example, while working on my degree in an entirely unrelated subject... yet I am much more interested in the Philosophy than by Engineering.

Although perhaps that says more about Engineering than it does about personal studying... Hmm...

I tend to enjoy my chemistry class over my Lit class, but I love to read (interesting) books and do my own creative writing. I always get low grades in any science class, and my lit classes are pretty average (because of how picky my teachers are with writing assignments -___-). I have to turn in 2 writing assignments for all my classes(including math/chemistry/art) each quarter, so I tend to do poorly on them because I have to mass produce essays....... My school has never heard of quality over quantity, lol.

I'm most into art and music. But I have nothing at all against any of the others either. I like science and languages as much as I like art and music, however, I think art and music is much more fun than especially science. Languages is to me just as much fun as art and music is.

Language for me.

Although I would like all of them equally if I was doing good in them.
Like my favorite class in high school was physics... even more than foreign language or english.

Math/ science makes me puke. I got an A- in Math, but that's only because I knew NO ONE in my class, and I got an A in science one year for the exact same reason, and a C the next because I had my friends. Regardless of my grades, I really despise them both.

I like Language/ social & art/ music so I had a hard time picking between the two. I picked art/ music because I played a fun game of "eenie meenie minie moe"

Like them all (without music, my fingers are too short to play any instrument XP), but I have to choose math/science. Mostly because they're easy to me and I'm best in my class at them :P

I have an innate talent for learning languages. Though I'm much better at science. Only reason I don't like learning more about science is because I know the higher-end involves math. I hate math.

I would generally say I like Art/Music more. Simply put always loved music and still do of course although I cant probably play an instrument or sing, it is quite interesting to me and it's powerful when hearing a good melody or beat.

Now for art I can't draw wortha shit, but I do enjoy looking and reading on art. And it's background history and so forth. :D

I push through all of them with some effort (plus Music/Art/Sports nobody takes seriously over here, so it's an automatic A), though I particularly love Maths, Informatics, and Languages. On the other hand, I struggle with Physics, and passionately hate Chemistry, which is probably the reason for it being the only subject I just can't reliably get an A in, and sometimes end up with Cs even. My second most disliked subject would be Literature, although I have no trouble getting the grades there, I abhor the praising of some government-choosen poets' ideals being forced on students, the overanalyzing, the essays..

i love music and languages especially if the two are incorporated with each other. i mean, pretty words sung in pretty melodies! what more can you ask for. and since i'm pretty sure i'm majoring in english, and i have a passion for music, you can say that songs with nice lyrics can basically be viewed as hot bishies if you look into my eyes.

even if they're close to not making any sense, i'd still find the beauty in it if words are perfectly woven together with extreme delicacy. like, you can't just put them there and you can't just speak the words blandly either. it provides you with an option to express yourself in such a way that not only gets the idea across but also tickles the brain. to me, words are like bones which should be assembled with care in order for you to make a perfectly shaped skeletal body and marvel at its contours.

my interpretation of music, on the other hand, leans more on the classicals such as those composed by chopin, liszt, and paganini amongst others. i find music more profound than any other subject. i mean, it's just there, open for your interpretation. like something that could entice a philosophical epiphany or something.

so yeah, i really am head over heels for the arts.
