Then my little brother(he still says that):''Why are you still watching them?? are you a kid or something??'' They do advertise "great" anime and persuade viewers to buy BD/DVDs, whereas if the series is shitty, they'll just claim to stream it on X legal streaming site... You get it... In short, YouTubers, especially anime YouTubers wants to appeal to those who enjoy what the YouTubers enjoy. I mean they have their own goals. And I feel like it benefits the industry in some ways. People who do it for their personal thing is a different thing as what anime YouTubers do it, they just generally, don't give a fuck. As you said. | I'm an adult so my parents don't give a damn what I watch. When I was a teenager my mother used to disapprove though because she blamed it for causing me to be aggressive and violent even though I was just going through the typical teenaged angst phase. Currently though no one disapproves of me watching anime and if anyone did I wouldn't really care. |

| Heh my parents were not really approving of me liking anime back when I first got into it. Years later, they got over it. Surely I had no problems convincing them of the much worse things I could be doing rather then watching anime, playing video games, and dressing up as these anime and game characters at anime conventions. |
