| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was great... We finally see more of what happened that night from Edward's eyes. I'm pretty hyped up for the next one. The kid is just totally freaky... I love how believable all the characters are... well all except the president hard to fathom all this is going on right under his nose and he has no clue. Oh yea and the random impersonation of Armstrong was pretty funny. This show has the perfect combination of suspense, comedy and action. |

| I pretty much agree with everything you've written down :) Yes, seeing what really happened through Edward's eyes was something refreshing. And learning more about that mysterious child was interesting, the kid's pretty intriguing considering he can transmute his own body. And yes, my favorite part about this anime was that it had a perfect mixture of so many different genres :) so_addictive said: well all except the president hard to fathom all this is going on right under his nose and he has no clue. That will be explained later on in the anime -- look forward to it ^_^ |

| man lots of revelations here :D so it was some sort of shadow Ed saw during the Human Transmutation. plus he said he found the "truth" lots of information was given to him by that gate, surprise his mind didn't go berserk. guess the "equivalent trade" of the "truth" about Human transmutation is sacrificing a body part itself. and wow Izumi seems soo sick :( i thought she was just shocked since i saw this happened when she accidentally said she's a housewife back when the dam at Ed's village was about to burst. guess she's really sick :( so the boy is made of equivalent trade from humans?? is that how Homunculus are made??? what did Izumi found in that stone altar in the Island?? episodes getting exciting, man i cannot wait for more!!!!!!! |

| interesting wrath has his arm and leg. i wonder what they meant when they said do they even know how Homunculus are born i thought it where created humans by humans not something born maybe they mean they where created by the body parts some one use for the human transmutation then born into a new person existing from different people there body part that would explain they actually created and born. this was a amazing episode again for 2 episodes it slowed down a bit but now it is getting somewhere again up to the next one i would say but got to sleep again 9:30 am :( |

| Damn, this episode was intense. I loved seeing what happened the night of the transmutation from Ed's eyes. That was some scary stuff. Alchemy is just so strange and eery. I got chillbumps all over when Winry said he had scars on his leg and arm. That was mind-blowing. Can't wait to learn more about this. |
| Oh my gosh that was creepy. Did anyone else notice the teachers husband sleeps with his eyes open? O_O And the kid hanging upside down from the ceiling omg That kid is really cute though So his arm and leg might be Ed's?! =O He should stop scaring the kid though. I wonder why Izumi keeps coughing up blood =( |

| I freaking knew that kid looked like Al! And the off-colored arm and leg gave it away. Great twist, probably has Al's body with Ed's arm and legs, but black hair for some reason lol. Hopefully no more episodes that were also in Brotherhood, so it'll be a completely new experience. I really wanna know what that stone thingy was on the island. This means the other homunculi were also made when human transmutation happened? So Lust came from scar's brother attempting human transmutation maybe? 5/5 can't believe my friends told me to skip FMA 2003, this show rocks. |

| Frank... loves wars. cues to his vampire lookin ass humming all creepily. Can you make the non main antagonists aka everyone evil except for the Homunculus in this show look any more evil looking, god damn. It's one of my biggest gripes with this anime, everyone who's a bad guy is very blatantly insane and overly evil for the sake of being evil. Nobodies in the grey except for Scar and the Homunculus(MAYBE at least they have motives and don't look over the top sinister minus Gluttony). |

| Hmm I have a feeling that Izumi had a kid but he/she died and somehow this kid with Ed's arm and leg has reincarnated as Izumi's kid? - Especially since she responded weird to a question about having kids (if I recall correctly) , and now she's standing at a grave. Really interesting :) |
