Ayase<3

I like Tsumugi's character design, but I don't think I know enough about her to say I like her. Am eagerly awaiting her episode.

I also like Gai, Ayase, Tsugumi, and Shu's Mom.

I'm really starting to hate Shu though.

Ayase Definitely.

Segai Definitely.

Col. Dan Eagleman ???? He grows on you.

I like Haruka more then I thought I would. Same with Hare.
Summoning Dark: "What kind of human creates his own policeman?"

Watcman: "One who fears the dark."

"And so he should," said the enity, with satisfaction.

"Indeed. But I think you misunderstand. I am not here to keep the darkness out. I'm here to keep it in." There was a clink of metal as the shadowy watchman lifted a dark lantern and opened it's little door. Orange light cut through the blackness. "Call me . . . the Guarding Dark. Imagine how strong I must be."

I don't think you understand what I was saying.

BTW, Kyon is Haruhi's bitch. He complains, but only in his head. (Almost all the time.)

...Unless that was sarcasm; in which case, nevermind.

Hard to choose.

Shu is the epitome of a courageous lead, he's intelligent and thinks about his actions. He rarely makes dumb choices, and he cares about his friends. Really an original character though.

but Inori is also really good. She has a lot of depth, and unlike a lot of characters nowadays, she's not used only for fan service. She seems to be one of the most complex characters in a while.

Yet another person who had never experienced anything created under Marvel(, DC, on down); explored the wealth of characters within it's "universe," and makes a post about how some "self-insert" is an epitome of "anything other than."

I mean... You can take away the rule-defying powers the lot of Marvel characters have; and they'd STILL be more worthwhile than Shu will ever be.

It's like totalitarianism all over again: "This White Paper Is Black." Do people think for themselves anymore? Or is nobody happy until "we all agree;" even though it may be wrong?

For men Shu, Gai, and Daryl especially Shu he is so cute and I like guys who act all chickenshit then a couple episodes later they bring the badass smackdown.

As for the women Ayase cause even though she is in a wheel chair she can beat your ass down.

I only like Yuzuriha for her looks at the moment.

Hare is pretty nice for a normal school girl character at least I don't wish for her to die every episode like I did with that bitch Shirley Fenette so thats a plus.

Ayase and Segai so far.

Probably future Shu, provided this goes in the direction I am hoping it does.

Tsugumi and Kido would be on the list too but we haven't seen enough of them yet to make a firm assessment.

surprisingly, Shu xD

he's neither intelligent nor courageous (imo I guess), but what makes him an awesome person is that he always tries, often not for his own sake but for others, simply because he's afraid to betray others' expectation of him and I think that makes him very human-like. this is probably what drives his motives to remain in Funeral Parlor, although it does give him a certain quality of baseness as a person like when we saw in ep 9 where he started worrying more about his own safety while trying to save someone else's life ("how would I explain this to Yahiro?"). For me it's kinda hard not to identify with that part of Shu. plus he's just kinda funny to watch I guess :P

So you acknowledge the fact that he's an inconsistent walking contradiction at the same time you declare him as a favorite. ROFL. But not really a surprise at all, all things considered...

Yahiro. Not that there's much from which to choose from. Especially not with those protagonists. (Though I don't hate Shu nearly as much as most viewers out there. I believe he'd be my second favorite for lack of better characters. I do hate Inori with a passion, though: it's like she's only there for fanservice... That and the fact that her attitude pisses me off.) Segai is not bad either.
