This chapter reminded me a lot of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica.

The guns. The one who wastes food first (or throws it) dies. And of course, seeing Mami there.

I wonder what her wish was though, since her grandma passed away in the end.

Okay, I finished reading the chapter just now and I am thinking that this is an interquel of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica show. I really like how things go deeper and deeper as it goes while simultaneously giving Mami Tomoe a Cameo is more than enough to entertain me.

Wow, finally a character from the original series shows up. And it ends up being Mami, of all people. I'm pleasantly surprised. And she's with....Juubey? This has to be an alternate timeline, otherwise surely Juubey would have been mentioned in the original series. Which kind of makes me sad if this ends up being a totally different timeline from the anime.

lolz @ Kazumi saying Umika's book sucked. But now we know where she heard the phrase about not wasting food. It wasn't from Kyouko after all (unforunately).

And then there was flashback within the flashback, including the part with Mami. Looks like we're finally going to learn what Kazumi's wish was. I'm guessing something to do with waking her grandma up one last time.
