| I used to use them a lot more back when I lived with roommates and wanted to keep the volume down, but nowadays my home-use headphones are mainly for when I'm looking to enjoy the music while doing nothing else - for background music playing I just use speakers. |

| In terms of sound quality, sure. But the inconvenience of putting them on and taking them off repeatedly, along with the discomfort after a while (I've yet to use a single pair of headphones that doesn't leave my ears uncomfortable after a few hours, especially if I'm wearing glasses instead of contacts; and I've tried almost every type except custom molded IEMs, which I don't have the money for) outweighs the advantages when I just want background music that I'm not paying particular attention to. |

| Ok sad to hear that, have you tested Sennheiser HD-515, I use them and I have glasses, I can't even feel that I am wearing them. |

| I haven't, but since they're similar to the HD555/595, which I have tried, I'm doubtful that it'd be very different. I think it's just that my ears don't like to have anything at all in contact with them for long periods of time. |

| What strange ears you have, are you a Elf? My ears don't touch the Head Phones, that is my Sennheiser HD-515 and HD-650. Though The HD-650 have more tight feeling, pressing harder against my head, but they also sit like a rock on the head, the HD-515 can feel abit like they gonna fall off your head, though they never do and never will, if you don't force them. I have a very small head though. Back to topic, I wash my Head Phones, so far it has worked great, though I did not get the earpads 100% clean, but I now know it works fine to wash em, so I will be trying with real wasingpowder next time. |

Now my earpads are dry, though I am not sure, but if something has changed I think it would be the Volume of the pads, but I am not sure as I did not compare before and after, but if there is a change it is very small. I can feel a tiny bit of my ears touching the inside of the phones, I could have done that before but just not thought about it so i am not sure if it is new or not. If it is new it must be that the earpads have lost some volume after the washing, I did force some water out of them by pressing them between my hands and giving them a *massage* when washing them, but I can't see any visual difference so it is really hard to say. It could also be that before there was a groove where my glasses press against the ear pads, now they are gone since I washed them, that could be anough to make them feel just alittle bit different as I do now. |

| haha. i use headphones/earphones everywhere! iPod, Laptop, Computer, Keyboard, Stereo,etc. when im listening to my music, alittle lower on anime becauase, the blood-curling screams scare me to death. i was watching an anime, nice and peaceful then - AAAAACCCCCKKKKK!!!! i droped my ice cream. hahaha. the only reason why i use those is becase if you blast it on your stereo, it wont be as loud as using ear phones because its closer to your ear :D |

The standard one I bring is the audio technica headset that have the function to coil the wire inside the set, rather convenient. In school, quietly and slowly avoiding the teacher's sight, using the standard ipod headphones. |
