| When I first start this anime (I have never played the game) I didn't like kuma at all .I felt that it wouldn't fit into this, but now kuma is my favorite character of this season! I want more kuma now! |
| I hope the next episode is not that "boring"? Well since there's no more "that's not my true self" thingy I'm really hoping for them to show an epic scene :/ Well overall not a bad episode but it feels so fast |
| Hm, well, in the game I always felt the murder case was one of the central themes even if your relationship with the others also shared the focus. True, there were some gaps where you just waited for the days to pass while doing some Social Links or whatever you felt like doing, but they were always talking about the murder case and it always felt like a very relevant plot point. The beginning in particular was all about setting the mood and the crimes. I could even say 90% of the reason I played the game from beginning to end was because I was very interested in seeing the mystery being solved and because I liked the atmosphere. Here in the anime, it just feels like they ignore it and just bring it up when it's absolutely necessary. There is no real focus on the murder mystery itself, it almost feels completely irrelevant. Important characters like Dojima and Nanako are being neglected too. The only boss battles I genuinely liked were against disco ninja frog and Yukiko-chicken-thing. I mean, Kanji was funny, but it wasn't really errrr, a battle. More like comic relief. This episode in particular just blazed through 2 boss battles. I don't know, I just wish they didn't feel the need to finish one dungeon in one episode, they could very well have extended it to the next episode. Maybe dedicate the first half of episode 11 to finish the dungeon and the other half to cover whatever comes next. So far the only thing this anime has done a good job at is the comedy, the rest feels very empty. There are some good scenes, but in general it's meh. I just hope they at least do a decent job with the second half of the story, which is where most of the important stuff happens. |

Couldn't agree more and to add cutting the investigation for clues, to open the dungeon, is also something I'm not happy with. I'm sure some people found those parts boring but I loved them and they were there for a reason. Needing Rise as a replacement for Kuma/Teddie was glanced over and eliminated a part where the group hit the street and investigated. Would really like my mystery back, thanks. The Rise battle was okay but it could have been a lot better. The Kuma/Teddie battle, wait, what battle? There wasn't one. They took one of the cooler ones in the game and turned it into a one shot. Pathetic. I was never a huge Kuma/Teddie fan to begin with but in a lot of ways he kind of got the shaft which is a shame. |
| So I switched to the Anime Network stream since Commie was taking to long. Gotta say, I'm glad they use Teddie's bear-tastic puns as well. 'Cause I've seen there are apparently some fansubs that just translate them literally as him saying "KUMA" at the end of every sentence, and that's a deal-breaker for me. |

Because fan-subbers are going more for a literal translation and trying to stay true to it's Japanese origin. English game only added Bear puns. Don't know why is everyone so crazy about them... |

| I think that this Risette's shadow fighting is not even enjoyable as Kuma's. It's news to me that Kuma has a darkside to because I havent' played the game (currently playing persona 3). for me this adaption is quite good |

| So how could Yuu offer Yosuke a copy some episodes ago if he can't record it? either he didn't know yet then (though he noticed it immediately now, it's not like he has to check afterwards), or he just wanted to troll him. Speaking of which, besides this they didn't make any real joke like they did before. Not even during the phone call right after the midnight show. Well, better they save some for later anyways, instead of burning through all one after another and having like 5 or 10 episodes without awesome jokes in a row later. |

| the only episode i gave 3/5 so far. it was rushed like hell , they should have strech it into two episodes with shadows teddy appearance as cliff hanger. the only good thing is yuu spamming the record button |

| I thought this was a weak episode, especially the fight. Rise and Kuma redeemed it somewhat though. 3/5. Don't really like how Yuu and Rise are pushed together so much, but seeing how Chie is left with Hanamura most of the time, I guess Narukami can only get the second best girl. Tough luck. |

That's because they're skipping the whole dungeon exploring and also the school social life part of the game...so every episode is shown important parts of the story thrown together after each other and it's understandable if it gets kinda tired and repetitive. |

| Yu recording Shadow Rise was the best thing of the episode and damn that girl's hot! Super Saiyan Teddie was awesome as well. Great show! |
