Eh, well if that's ok than why not Itsuki Kamiyama. A lot of the plans he makes involve directly meeting horribly deranged psychopaths. He's got some balls, man.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes - full of manly dudes. Except that Julian Minci. Damn him!

Shinkon Gattai Godannar - Filled with manliness, boobs, ass, hotblood and more.

Gun X Sword - More boobs, manliness etc.

And I just started watching this old anime called Harlock. I'll have to see a few more episodes to decide but the first episode was pretty manly.

Ali Al Saachez from Gundam 00, there's probably a couple other pilots from that series who could get in but we definitely need Prince Ali.

Yea Ali is badass. He's unkillable, he pimp slamps that red-head, and he does it all with a wicked evil smile.

Sorry, I mean I see the badassness in Gunbuster but it had female pilots. I'm not sexist but that isn't manly. along with them bitching a lot. They don't make the relations sry dude.

Detroit Metal City. Krauser rapes a tower, and undertakes a variety of over male dominance acts.
I haven't read the manga, but it's exactly the same as the anime apparently, so I guess that should be included.

Edit: Legend of the Galactic Heroes. In episode 60 one dude says to another dude "What a manly man you are". (you can take this one as a serious to-add or not lol)

Baki The Grappler

When you cut a man nerves and he still has the power to beat your ass. That's just manly right there.

Irresponsible Captain Tylor and Justy Ueki Tylor

I'm only two episodes in but so far he's managed to seduce the computer giving him a mental evaluation, and defuse a hostage crisis while trying to hit on the hostages.

Some additions:

Fritz Joseph Bittenfeld from LoGH. Typical hotheaded badass, but with more slyness than you'd expect.
Also from LoGH:
Dusty Attenborough, ace pilot with great love for women and alcohol.
Walter von Schenkopp, a really hardcore guy that favours a good and bloody melee.

From Hellsing:
Alexander Anderson and Captain Hans Günsche

Hajime Saitou from Rurouni Kenshin needs to be on here. Not only awesome in anime, but this guy was SO manly that in real life that he had to leave home for "accidentally" killing a samurai when he was 18. His insanely heavy drinking ended up killing him in his 70s, but he died sitting up (in the seiza position, no less) because he wasn't about to face death like a girly man.

Digimortal (manga)

Would there be any objections to me adding Captain Falcon?

@thepapercut: Digimortal has been added

@Baman: I'm gonna have to take your word on the LotGH recs, as I haven't seen it, but they've been added.

I second the Legend of the Galactic Heroes nomination! Also I nominate the new Shin Mazinger Z anime. It's just started but it's already manlier than the last season's entire anime lineup.

OK, I am halfway through the first episode of Sumomomo Momomo and am laughing my ass off at the two manly fathers. I don't know what happens afterwards, but for now it seems worth looking into.
A past can last a lifetime.

Three episodes through the following Characters don't look like they'll wuss out

-Date Masamune

-Sanada Yukimura

-Oda Nobunaga

-Sarutobi Sasuke

They all have the advantage of being historical badasses as well

New guy here but I think Baki the Grappler should be added. And Hanma Yujiro, Hanma Baki, and Jack Hammer to the relations.

They f*** s*** up. Jacked beyond recognition, amazing fights. Intense.

Zoro from One Piece. Even if you don't consider One Piece to be a manly show, Zoro alone is a total badass.
Gintoki and Hijikata from Gintama. Gintama has some other pretty manly characters, but eh, don't feel like going through them.
Busou Renkin. That show should be put up as well, both for some of the characters, (Kazuki, Captain Bravo and Victor) and for the show itself.

Edit: Fuck Zoro. It's all about fucking Captain Smoker. Dude is so manly, he smokes 2 cigars at once, at all times, and has a badass motorcycle powered by smoke. Smoker is manly as fuck.

Baki the Grappler is perhaps the shittiest anime out there but if you want it added, I suppose I can't really argue since that's two members against one admin. *SIGH* Well anyway, I'll get to work on that.

Nominating Shinkon Gattai Godannar Part 1 & 2
This explains it ALL!

From it, add the characters Goh Saruwatari, and Kouji Tetsuya.
