| I don't like how in each episode I'm reminded of how this woman is all about "Arata! Arata!!". I'm not even interested in romance or shipping male characters with Chihaya rather I'm watching it for karuta. But now, it's gotten pretty annoying; both Chihaya and the "forced" romance buildup they're trying to set as the main theme. |

| Dang he really just ate her cake just like that no hesitation just went in and ate it. But for real people are really hung up on the romance side of things here? Well then yeah if you focus on that then it’s pretty trash. But this is basically a sports anime dude and it’s so far been a solid one at that |

| Great episode. When Taichi held Chihaya's arm and ate the cake... damn. Taichi is really growing on me. Grade school Taichi was a jerk, but people can change. Taichi seems to have. Despite his initial protests, he's all in on karuta now. And without him, Chihaya wouldn't be able to have this karuta club. His intelligence and maturity helps to complement Chihaya's passion. And I can really see and feel his feelings for Chihaya. I assume by now he's broken things off with his girlfriend, not that it was ever that serious to begin with I think. I don't know if Chihaya's feelings for Arata are admiration, love, or a combination of both. But now I'm firmly rooting for Taichi. |

| Feeling bad for Taichi seeing how he and the rest of the club prepared this suprise party for Chihaya's birthday but it took Arata a single message to steal her heart, well at least Taichi stole the bite of her cake so I guess they are even. |

| Chihaya does with training the new members as she does with everything else - try and brute force it. Don't think that's really the best approach, but with Taichi keeping an eye out for everything else it seems to be working. Not really a lot else to say for this episode, other than that I doubt that they can all win the Tokyo regionals, simply because karuta isn't really a team sport and I doubt there is specifically a five-player variant played - but I guess we'll see when that comes along. |

| tbh I was skeptical about Chihaya being so pushy with the other club members, but her obsession turned out to be appreciated instead. Already learning from this on a personal level |

| Chihaya's passion for the game made her forget about ...her own birthday? Her love for karuta is on a whole other plane of reality bro. Taichi earned a ton of my respect for planning that out, but man. Dude puts up with Chihaya's antics out of genuine love while having to compete with who she sees as the god of a niche hobby he doesn't have 100% passion for. Can't help but feel bad for him. |
| Arata was a huge and outstanding figure in Chihaya's life. She literally said the guy is a God before her eyes. He will always be the most important in her heart and it will be really difficult for Taichi to step in. I don't think she has any clue about love though so maybe she'll be able to separate love and respect as 2 different feelings in the future. We'll see. |

| Wow, Taichi is being aggressive. Who will won, I wonder? 🤔 Damn, the anime could barely finish the source. (After knowing there are still two more season to watch and there's 50 volumes of the source...) |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
