| According to their official website, Kyoto Animation has announced a new TV anime "Hyouka". It is based on the mystery light novel "Kotenbu series" first published in 2001. Staff Director: Takemoto Yasuhiro Series Composition: Gatoh Shoji Character Design: Nishiya Futoshi Music: Tanaka Kohei Synopsis: Oriki Hotaro is a high school boy, who always acts passively. One day, he enters "Koten Bu (Classic Literature Club)" as recommended by his elder sister. There he meets Chitanda Eru, Fukube Satoshi, and Ibara Mayaka. Chitanda is a calm beautiful girl but she turns into an embodiment of curiosity once she says, "I'm interested in it (Watashi, Kininarimasu)". Fubube is a smiling boy who excels in memory, but he never constructs his own deduction. Ibara is a short girl and is strict with others and herself. She loves Fubube, but he always dodges her approach. They begin to investigate a case that occurred 33 years ago. | ... I say this is not a good move by Kyoani. Story that deals with old memories and old stuffs are usually forced in terms of mood + the setting itself is a huge cliche. This series must need Kyoani's usual addition of fluffiness and moe-vibe to attract someone like myself. ...so, not watching... but I will watch it instantly once people starts their usual bashing of Kyoani with moe-blob. I love to be in a war field. |

| When is Kyoto Animation going to learn? Full Metal Panic is what the people want! | If Chitanda is a Kuudere (or even better, a realistic character with Kuudere-esque traits), then I will watch. Otherwise, thanks, but no thanks, unless it is hated by KyoAni fanbois, which means that it will actually be worth watching (like Nichijou was, relative to K-ON and Haruhi) |
