| Given how the responses are like, most of the main protagonists seem to be boring/okay. In a way I gotta agree, I'm actually more into these Anime/Manga for the world settings and the supporting characters. For that note, Ichigo is the most boring (because he angsts too much and that allows less time for the other characters to develop). On the other hand, Luffy and Toriko are too generic (and extremely fixated in a single emotion at any one time). |

| The only one I watch/read is One Piece, so I'll have to go with Sanji. He's the least interesting of the Straw hat crew by far. Plus, he tends to be annoying sometimes. |

I read like 80% of the manga in WSJ. But Bleach is an exception. I really am starting to hate it. Yet you add more hatred to the thread, and even hate on almost all of the shonen jump protagonists. =P Ichigo, by far, is the most bland, uninspired, and boring main character. What's worse, he's also a sad excuse for a shonen jump character. Most of them have dreams and goals; he has nothing. What's his goal or dream? Absolutely nothing. I can't say I understand why you find Toriko to be boring. He's over the top, entertaining, and a complete badass. Like Luffy. They're easily the most entertaining MCs in Shonen Jump. Oh, and how could anyone forget about Gintoki? There's no one more hilarious than him. Gon's awesome, from what little I've seen of him. His innocence and open-minded ways are charming. Oga and Bossun have their moments. Bossun is like a less funny version of Gintoki. Ashirogi Muto are dreadfully boring. Too normal. Too plain and naively optimistic. Sasuke is a runner-up for worst MC, right behind Ichigo. Now, you must be telling yourself, "Wait, Mormegil, Sasuke isn't the main character! It's Naruto!" Yeah, well, why don't you tell that to Kishi? Naruto hasn't been the MC for a long, long time. |

| Oh I guess I forgot someone: It's Ichigo from Bleach. Power ups so much? Actually I find Hichigo would be awesome but since Ichigo is as the same reason as Naruto does: Kyuubi & Hollow Ichigo. |
