Some spoiler tags added, and some nonsense deleted. Please make sure to label and tag all of your spoilers, and don't post if you have nothing to contribute to the thread -- that means, don't quote somebody else and add nothing further, or talk shit about somebody. Report unlabelled spoilers instead of quoting them and doubling the work required.

Megavideo going 'Sorry, you've watched xx minutes, blah blah...' 15 minutes before the end of the last episode of Wolf's Rain.
Sweet Jesus, was I pissed.
(Mainly at myself for not paying attention to the watching time, but still D:)

...Actually, happened also countless times when I was watching Code Geass. Which is basically overloaded with epic.

megavideo is one of the main reasons i download, most streaming sites link to megavideo which is sad.

But yes, family members walk in at the worst times, its almost like they time it perfectly on purpose. :P

I remember only one time, when my mood was totally ruined.
I've been rewatching the last episode of Cowboy Bebop (for 9th time, but who cares) and suddenly my little sister came into the room chatting with her friend by the phone and retelling a stupid joke about someone farted in the middle of the class...
was pissed like hell...
and a fart -_-"

Whenever my dad walks in to my room while watching Anime. I have to pause the video everytime and pretend I'm doing something else.

After he leaves, I'll just get back to the video but the epic moment was ruined. :(

Every time, WITHOUT FAIL, I'll be in a really good part in an anime and my mother will ask me to do something or someone will come over for a visit XD

What I hated the most, though, was when I was watching
and my dad called and asked to talk to me, right when
!!! I was seriously about to cry!! He ruined my most EPIC ANIME MOMENT!!!!! (ranting and raving over now ^.^)

I was just about to say the same thing! I was watching a movie and it was getting to a good part.

Yeah, I hate that too. Sometimes when I watch anime episodes on it, after two episodes it says that I have to wait 50 something minutes before I can watch another episode.

Seriously, people, if you're watching something and want to do it spoiler free and all, stay away from wiki and everyone you know has seen it.

My cousin not only spoiled the whole entire Higurashi no Naku koro ni for me but also Kai.

Me: "So cuz, I'm gonna start watching Higurashi."
My cousin: "OMG DON'T WATCH THE FIRST SEASON, WATCH THE SECOND ONE FIRST! because such and such happens and this and that!!"
Me: "..."
My cousin: "With the second season this and this happens, that and that, and such and such do this and blah blah."
Me: "... but I..."

There's also Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. While I'm waiting for my torrents to finish (TM 8.0 is one of them) to kill time I went on 4chan.
The very first thing I see is

I was so pissed off I took it out on my sister.
From now on though, I don't go near 4chan when new episodes of anime I watch are released.

I tend to watch animes late at night or when there is no one to bother me. I dun wan any disturbances while i m serious and absorbed in an anime. Still, I m nagged by some of my anime hater frens(i m sharing a flat with my frens) with something like that "WTH? why are you watching childish stuff?". :(

Yes, someone telling some spoilers in an anime without consideration to those who haven't watched / completed it yet. It happened to me a couple of times and it's a "death spoiler" of all things. I have yet to watch this particular anime and I already know that the main character here will die.

Spoiler for End of Evangelion

Mod Edit: Please use and label spoiler tags where appropriate.

GAAAAHHH! I just thought to myself: "Oh, I've watched End of Evangelion" - but the thing is, that this JERK (me) only downloaded it, and never got to actually watching it. I read the first line or so, and there the spoiler was... -__-

Anyways - yes; I believe I've had an epic moment ruined. I think I was crying when someone died in a show, and my mum came in. "What are you crying about?!" Pretty embarrassing to explain :b

It wasn't someone or something.

But to me it was when I was at the ending of TTGL(to me it was something epic since I don't finish a lot of anime these days), the after credits thing. It was just about to show Adult Simon when Megavideo shits out on me. Oh hell, I raged so hard, I threw a few things around and woke up my friend who was spending the night. She calmed me down and it took me at least 20 minutes to find another sub version of the last episode. I was pissed off cause it took me 20 minutes to watch the last 2 minutes of an anime.

But some epic anime moments get ruined when my sister is watching something with me, and she makes a witty comment that ruins it. D:

Haha, I always do that xD
But my sister ruins some moments for me by standing behind me and going 'Whoa, you're watching that Japanese shit again? Jeez, get a life...who's that guy? He looks like he's retarded. What the hell? That didn't make any sense...' and so on.
RAAAAGE.

One would think I'd also wise up already. Nyeh.

Anyway, one more thing came to my mind: I had been looking for Shiroyasha Koutan subbed for ages and I finally downloaded it. Never mind all the mkv issues, let's just say I played it a day later. It starts and there's this field with Gintoki and Katsura surrounded by Amanto. They're all covered in blood and you can only hear them pant and see half of Katsura's face and really, that's all you need to make this scene epic. So, my mom comes in, hears the panting and looks at me like I'm watching porn or something XD Then she looks at the screen, sees all this blood and dead bodies and goes into RAEG mode, screaming 'Oh my God, stop watching these stupid cartoons already! Grow up, God damn it!' And I'm like o__O
The scene was ruined.

This, really. There's always stuff that everyone thinks of as 'you should know this already'. Like a certain death from Gurren Lagann. Believe it or not, I did NOT know about it. And then I went to tvtropes.org (which is the best site ever, but not when you don't like being spoiled with 'stuff you should already know' -.-)

And for some retarted reason I would read the comments on the video I was going to watch... Totally ruined tooons of eps of anime for me. Now, I've finally figured out that I shouldn't read the comments anymore... :))

Aaaaand... Sometimes while surfing through these forums you'll find a spoiler that wasn't covered by a spoiler button... >:(

Sort of, for LoGH, but I'm not exactly sure when it'll happen (and I expect a lot more epic, unspoiled things to happen anyway, I'm only half through the series).

However, I have inadvertently spoiled things myself just by guessing correctly (even without looking at any answers). I seem to be very good at guessing plots twists sometimes if someone tells me that the series has one to begin with.

I had to rewatch kaleido star season 2's final episode 4 times. 3 because my roommate was having a really loud fight with her mom in the other room and then proceeded to come to me so she could vent for a good 2 hours. the 4th time so that i could actually appreciate the beauty and cry.

Air TV

My friend started crying to me about her boyfriend. I'm afraid I wasn't very sympathetic.

My flat has terribly thin walls and one of my flatmates sings at the top of his voice constantly. Failing this, someone will always knock on my door just as an anime is reaching a climax.
