the title says why do people smash their hard drives when they think their in trouble, without reading the first post that would just imply that people normally smash their hard drives when they believe they are in trouble from any type of trouble and not getting caught by the feds like this thread is actually referring to

Its all in my book "using common sen-" woops sorry i thought i turned douchbag mode off

Jizzy as you would call yourself because youre a dick The most butthurt award goes to you And clearly you havent watched that many shows thats why you cant determine if a show is unique or not Or maybe you're just a child who likes common stuffs where hero saves the day and guys gets all the girls. Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

Why would you NOT destroy physical evidence if you knew the cops were about to burst into your home.

It's like saying it's better to keep the murder weapon on you rather than to dispose it somewhere seemingly unfindable (or in this case, impossible to recover).

There we go. And it pisses me off... Liking loli doesn't make me a pedophile. But according to the government, having some drawn images of girls with childish features should be illegal, because only pedophiles would enjoy it and therefor it should be treated the same as CP? Something is seriously wrong with this world...

You raise a valid point. The way I see it, assuming it was truly pornographic lolicon, then it should be legal, because assuming the pedobears were into that sort of thing, it'd be a tool to satisfy them without harming actual children. Kind of how marijuana is legalised for medicinal purposes.

for how long though? the only way not to go deeper and darker is if it doesn't exist, your naive if you think that it will consistently sidetrack them. When people like porn they crave more, and after a while they get bored, especially if they know that there is something further beyond what they are looking at; the fact that this specific thing may be illegal would only make them want it more.

I'm not so sure about your reasoning. Everybody is different. Sure, it won't stop them all, nor might it keep the attention of those who do happen to enjoy lolicon for a significant amount of time, but there's no guarantee it wouldn't work either.

I'm assuming you're speaking from personal experience? Not everyone who's seen pornographic imagery necessarily wishes to delve deeper. Not to mention, most of the people who do enjoy watching porn excessively don't actually crave CP. Likewise, people who enjoy lolicon don't generally happen to watch actual CP.

careful with those assumptions friend, anyway for general people to put some thought into the subject, it isn't hard to come to the reasoning i did.

out of choice or fear? jail is a good reason not to watch it

Obviously if you break your harddrive, the files and data you have on it will be wiped out. This can potentially destroy evidence stacked against you which in some cases can lead to a desirable outcome such as being acquitted on charges.
