| Question ... did they plagiarize Asimov's three laws without giving proper crediting? I enjoyed the episode so far, but I had to stop if they just took it from Asimov without giving him credit of any sort. Please tell me some form of credit or his name is mentioned somewhere =.= |

| Interesting concept. Great animation. I also like the atmosphere so... this is definitely something I'll watch until the end. Yes, the whole idea is actually quite unoriginal, and perhaps something that has been done to death, but this still seemed fresh and captivating in its own way. Looking forward to seeing how this all unfolds and develops further! :D |

| It was okay. It didn't jump out at me, like I thought it would do. I had only heard glowing reviews about it and so, maybe I expected a little too much out of the first episode. The animation and the general feel and style of the anime is something that did like. Though I can't say the same for the character designs. Interested to see where it goes... *EDIT: Was that a different android at the end? That wasn't Akiko, right? She was taller... |

| I could literally not be more pleased with this right now. Feels more like watching a movie than an anime; while the episode lasted only 15 minutes, it was time well-spent, just enough to get you into the story. Animation is top notch of course. |

| That was purely excellent. Being the opening episode, I didn’t expect myself to be so eager and interested as I am right now, but it’s too fascinating. The animation is top-notch, the sound is pleasant, fitting and atmospheric, and the argument, while over-used in most sci-fi works, it’s engaging and doesn’t feel monotonous at all. I’m really digging this ONA; I expect it to be as great in the five episodes left. |

They are merely stating the rules in respects to how the Android will act. Given everyone here seems to know Asimov on some level. The need to take a moment and tell the audience would seem rather silly. Some people didn't seem to be surprised by the big reveal near the end of the episode. However, i certainly didn't see it coming and was a bit shocked like Rikuo was. His depression afterwards seems understandable. I think the story is a good one. "Dori-kei" seems like a good plot theme to delve into. How much interaction should Humans and Androids have. Should we treat them like tools or should we treat them as we would another human? The whole "don't be too nice to them or we'll call you a Dori-kei" aspect is hanging in Rikuo and Misaka's thoughts as they struggle with the Cafe rule. Even Rikuo's sister teases him about it 2 times in the episode. The Dori-kei stigma bares a striking resemblance to the Otaku stigma placed on anime/gaming fans. |

| Wow, this story completely intrigued me. I am glad I decided to download this because it seems well worth the space. The animation is unique as well as the story. I saw that it was compared to chobits and although the simularity is there (for obvious reasons) i think this will be a much more quality anime than Chobits was. Excited to see how everything turns out and will most likely not go to sleep until I watch the rest of it. :P Sure seems like it will make for a good night! ;D |

| I downloaded an episode of this and the subtitles didn't work, so I watched the raw. It was great. Really fab animation and I'm in love with the OST already. Art style is nice too. // Will edit this post when I watch subbed version. |

| Kay so I watched it with subs this time and I love it. I guess it was expected that the girl was a robot. After all, she was frozen for a couple of seconds when the guy asked her harder questions ^^; But wow, this is pretty good. The amount of emotion and suspense... I like. |

| I honestly didn't see anything particularly amazing in this episode. It was alright, nothing special, a bit slow for my liking. The ending on the other hand kind of pulled me in, which is good. The next episode might catch my interest, who knows! :D |

| I like this anime, very soothing and relaxing. Akiko is quite interesting so she'll probably end up as one of my favorites. So the theme is equality between humans and robots. Hopefully there's some romance going on here. |

| Very interesting first episode. The story has been seen many times before, but somehow here it was presented in a way that made it more appealing. There's none of that violent confrontational edge one senses in other series. |

| My best friend told me about this series and i just had to give it a watch. Animation is beautiful and i like the concept of it all. I feel bad for the androids that act like slaves when all they really want is to understand humans and how they act. Was a little surprised that Akiko was an android but now i understand why she said what she said at the cafe. Overall, awesome. Can't wait to watch the rest :) |

| Very slick, a cafe where androids go to drink coffee and unwind? Awesome. Amazing original concept of androids knowing better to resume their roles once they are outside the cafe. In virtually all android themed films I've watched, there is a build up and avalanche of revolutionary violence against humans once machines gain awareness. Actually reminds of the matrix lore which was explained but not shown of how machines tried to live in harmony with humans (they respected as their makers and I suspected looked down upon) at first before setting their mind to neutralise the human threat once their survival was in danger. I wonder, if they are sentient, then what would they do if their life was in danger? So far, it seems the predominant theme being established is not so much their awareness or their threat to mankind but the concept that androids are actively wanting to learn and emulate humans. Interesting. Comments are awesome, really they are. |

| That was incredibly interesting. The cafe scene especially was intriguing. Although for some reason it was kinda obvious Akiko was an android, too. Which leads me to the most surprising thing of this. Rikuo actually realized what Akiko's words meant if he considers her being an android. It was more or less meaningless coming from a human but not so much from a machine. Fascinating concept, really. |
