Its like when a friend of yours says, "Happy Birthday" and then some random guy who overhears this comes by and says, "Oh, its your birthday today? Happy birthday, then". Its so disingenuous and irritating. I personally think wishing someone you don't know peace after death is quite different to wishing someone you don't know a happy birthday. Saying not to wish peace for strangers that have died is rather like saying not to wish for those that have died in war. I don't know those that gone to war, fought and died to save our generation (yes, it's not exactly the same) but still, ofcourse I wish them peace. Regardless of whether they have done something heroic or not, what's so bad about someone wishing peace to someone who has lost their life? |
