| 'Must watch' based on what criteria? There are some 'important' stuff you might want to watch since they're referenced a lot in discussion and other anime... Manga will usually suffice if not the anime. 1. Dragonball / Dragonball Z 2. Neon Genesis Evangelion 3. Macross / Gundam stuff 4, 5, 6, 7, ... , n. Flavor-of-the-year anime. 2011: Madoka, Steins;Gate. etc. |

| just wanted to say the same about death note :( god i tought i was going to be great but got disapointed like ive never been before :s (and still 9/10 people here put it into a must watch blergh) but hey that's personal preference 1. Usagi drops (can't go wrong there now can you?) 2. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika 3. ... uuuuuhm... i'll stop the HAVE to watch list right there. why? usagi drops is a perfect slice of life (people might find it boring but you can't find anything wrong with the story) and for madoka, well i just haven't seen that many people who said it was bad (in any way) And then again this is feels more like a "give your top 5 favorit anime" :s like i said i for one DON'T like death note AT ALL! but there are also people who hated clannad or Suzumiya. i could also name school days as a must see anime but why put people trough it if we know 95% of them is going to say it's total garbage. wich in turn i kind of liked... |
