| Ehh? I actually liked the fact that there was never a kiss scene in Clannad. It made me like/appreciate their relationship more than I might have otherwise. The lack of a kiss scene added extra innocence and purity to it, and I admire the show for being able to portray their relationship so well without one. So, yeah, when it comes to Clannad, I don't think that they needed a kiss scene. What type of anime do you think kiss scenes should be in? . 3 . Ones which are primarily romance? I dunno, I used to get kinda pissed whenever one of the shoujo romances I watched never had a kiss scene. Ouran or Skip Beat or something. Otherwise, I don't care. |
| Love and Romance is not defined by kissing. Love between a couple is strong due to the feelings for one another; that one cares for another. Kissing is a mere action and result of love and it is not necessary in animes such as Clannad. I think the fact that there isn't kissing in Clannad only makes the bond between Nagisa and Tomoya more powerful in that the audience could feel the love between the two even though they never showed much physical interaction between the two. |

| I'm so used to no kiss scenes in most animes I don't even realize if there isn't one. Depending on what type of anime your watching there can be a cute and sweet kiss scene or there can be a complete make out scene where they show the tongues and everything. I don't think no kissing makes the romance any worse but in ecchi anime i feel like the kissing scene doesn't progress any romance either. |
