| I knew something would be wrong after that pineapple salad cake! Damn it, everything pointed to Ozma dying, so many references to SDF Macross! Even the episode number almost matches (17 against 18). Kawamori, stop playing with my feelings ;_; I wonder whether Ozma'll die later (or even in the next episode) because I waited for his death since episode 1...Basara's songs really did add emotion to everything. I noticed Ai on Leon's screen. Kid Vajra confirmed! Also Luca is sucked up into the conspiracy, and Michel shares his worries with Klan. Or is he? I wonder whether asking her about that girl was just a cover for more serious talk. P.S. Where were those eggs located..? Surely not on Frontier...right? |

| Macross Frontier really knows how to use Basara's songs, huh. Also, in any previous Macross title, Ozma would have absolutely died here. I can't believe they actually saved him in time. The characters are acknowledging Ranka's presence as government propaganda, given that she incorporated a pro-government, pro-Macross war theme to her song. Everyone's apparently estatic about her present on the warfront, and Ozma's one of the against her addition. He's close to uncovering the underlying plot, but he fell short of being able to accomplish anything at the moment. However, it seems like Sheryl has a much stronger conviction and personal tie to the conspiracy at hand, so perhaps she'll be the one to unravel what's going on. As an aside, who's idea was it to put a pin-up nose art of Ranka on that SMS ship? How did Ozma and Alto let that slide? |
| The insert songs for this ep were so damn good! Ozma is the man! Nearly scared me at the end lol. Sheryl definitely ain't playin. |
