Do you judge animes by its cover or name ?

Cover is just like a hype factor for me to watch it. Title helps to describe what it's about so I would say a good title will make me watch it sooner than anime with a somewhat mediocre title.

Cover I think to myself if the cover attracts me, the anime deserves it's one or two obligatory episodes.

I couldn't care less about the title, unless it's of a manga I've read getting an adaptation.

i dont care at all about the name but srsly the cover needs to be good for it to have a good chance of me deciding to watch it. well if the cover is good and its rated 6 or below on MAL im most likely not going to watch it anyway. if its above 8 or if it god good reviews ill consider too.

When I was younger I used to watch animes according to their cover (I did that with Log Horizon and Konosuba for example, well I wasn't disappointed)

Now I just read the résumé, check the genre, the score and the recommandations

But I'm avoiding animes with some tags like hentai, harem or ecchi

I am guilty of sometimes looking at the cover and then deciding to watch or not. This time I did try to watch everything airing and found good things though.

It is best to not judge the art cover, description or tags a show has.

I get that younger generation might not get why we use MAL forum to discuss anime. I mean, why not discord, twitter etc. Not to say I adore those who joined here longer than I am but I find them to be a passionate person to stay here even though they've moved on.

I somehow want myself if not others to adopt a familiar forum posting style instead of finding flaws and attack their logic flaws etc. For example I can be more chill and not toxic when a gaming community that I play has more older people or married people playing it.

Both. Every season XD I can't take many if them seriously. They often present themselves terribly in marketing.

I judge by art style, music, characters and premise. Maybe by cover, but definitely not by title.
