Ahhh but this is the anime where technically any pokemon could be the best (remember dodge it dodge it dodge it... wish I could do that in the game) . Like how his pikachu managed to end the match with Latios in a draw, or my personal favorite, when Bugsy's metapod destroyed Ash's chickorita and did a number on his pikachu before finally being taken down (woooo tackle go). Or how bout that bellsprout that took out his bulbasaur and pikachu, before going up against the mighty muk (which he should totally use more often) Anyways, point is really any of his guys could be "teh best" if he didn't keep getting new ones. |

To be honest, I personally got bored with Pikachu about 11 years ago. I remember it's reluctance to evolve in the begining, yet now, Pikachu, like Ash, really could do with growing up.:p |

| No, because there's always some bullshit reason for him to lose. Now, if Red, Gold, Ruby, Black, etc had the main characters for each season, and Ash in ONE, Pokemon probably wouldn't have gotten so boring (anime, not games). They could've had at least one of these characters be a "boss" character to battle somewhere in the series...that would be amazing. But, since that will never happen unless time suddenly reverses itself, we have to deal with this non-aging pansy until he finally turns 11. |

| I... oh god are you kidding me? He seriously hasn't won a single Pokemon league? It's worse than I thought. If they hadn't been stupid and actually changed Pokemon up every season or two, I might actually still be watching it like the giant nerd that I am. Sort of like how I am pretty much devoted to watching every Digimon season ever. Even if they suck (and Xros Wars is looking highly questionable) at least it's different. Seriously. They need to let Ash grow up, keep the Pokemon he has for more than a day (and get Charizard back darnit) marry Misty and actually do something with his life. His mom must be so disappointed. I mean I'm sure he's run out of clean underwear by now. |

| During the Advance Generation, I think it was narrated that 2~3 years have passed, so he should be at least 13? If he wants to win Pokemon League, He should start by getting his Charizard back, that bastard can take out an Articuno 1 v 1. Maybe time for a new main character who's an asshole to everyone yet so freaking good at what he does. |

| Well he won the Battle Frontier, which is supposed to be much harder than the Pokemon League, but Ash winning the Pokemon League is highly unlikely as the franchise will be milked for ages to come sadly. |
