Wow, hands down one of the craziest episodes. Lots of action and a bunch of stuff happened. We finally get to see both Haman and Scirocco in action (both have awesome mobile suits as well!) and it was just intense.

Intense episode indeed. First Jamitov dying, and then Sarah as well. And Haman and Scirocco's battle was awesome as well, the part where Scirocco was shooting down those funnels reminded me of when Amuro did the same thing against the Zeon Newtype guy in MSG.

I can't describe the epicness of this episode... it's just phenomenal.
There's a huge reunion of every important character and all of a sudden everyone starts betraying everyone! It was insane.
So the plan of Scirocco was to eliminate Jamitov and leave the spot open for himself from the very beginning?
Haman has been somewhat succeful up until now as well, for she has been weakening both the Earth Federation and the AEUG so that the Zeon empire has a chance to rise again.

Also the episode focused heavily on Katz, I couldn't help but think how much fail katz was during the entrie episode until he finally got a clearly shot at Scirocco and killed Sarah instead... I felt sorry for him, he's been trying hard as well.

Anyway, that was my interpretation of it so far.

Btw I notice this is happening a lot in Gundam... the girl always sacrifices herself for the man she loves in the decesive moment... and then is killed by someone important as well.
Lalah protected Char from Amuro... Four proteceted Kamille from Jerid... Sarah proteced Scirocco from Katz ...and Jerid got his ass saved 2 times, first by Lieutenent Lila who in the beginning taught him to be a better pilot and later by Mouar, both times from Kamille.

Scirocco and Haman were pretty awesome this episode. On one hand it was nice seeing what could be some badass Newtype action as opposed to the usual mind-communication silliness. But we still don't know what Newtypes are capable of (more importantly, their limits), and that just came out of nowhere this late in the series. Mixed feelings, but still some good stuff.

This episode has been incredibly frustrating like all the others throughout the series with the annoying and stupid villains and heroes always surviving. The best characters keep dying Lila, Four, Sarah, Jamitov, Jermaican, Apolly, Roberto, Maoa. While the characters I would like to be dead and can not stand Katz, Reccoa, Scirocco, Yazzon, Baske, Rosamia should have died a long time ago.

I really wished that Haman could have crushed Scirocco or that Katz would have killed him. I am sick of these miraculous saves occuring, it is getting old, just let the characters who should die, die.

Though this pattern of the girl dying is overused..can't the guy die for ONCE? Especially in this case.. T_T

This episode was great. Jamitov is dead. Too bad Sarah is the one who died, Reccoa deserves it way more. Oh well, there's still 4 more episodes, anything could happen I guess.

Agreed, especially with Sarah finally dying. It's amazing how on much Zeta goes on and on about Newtypes and Oldtypes but did less with them, battle-wise, than MSG did. Which could be a good idea on the differences between Newtypes if we weren't on freaking episode 46.

I think earlier in the series when Kamille killed Jerids first waifu that before her death she noted the difference(battle-wise)between newtypes and old types.

^ She did and I believe one other person, maybe Jerid, mentioned a difference, but I think that's it. It seems more like an afterthought as it's rarely brought up. I find it an interesting idea to explore, but not enough is done with it especially with the Newtype concept.

And I'm glad it was Katz who killed her, I thought he learned after being betrayed but the last few episodes he didnt want to take orders, made Sarah his priority and was just annoying. Now you kill Sarah and get mind fucked (y)

Amazing episode!

But fuck you Katz. I hope this is the last time they focus to this stupid brat.

I don't know why Haman is allowing Char, Paptimus and Jamitov to be in the same place? Though it maybe she might not know Char was on board.

Damn Paptimus killing Jamitov their own leader, reminds me of Zabi, Gihren killing Zabi, Degwin Sodo from Gundam 079.

The Fight between Haman and Paptimus is awesome!!! Although in the newer Gundam series they were able to shoot those mini lasers at a much faster rate. I guess this is what happens when they trying to mind fuck each other.

Those ghost that appears reminds me of Amuro when he took down one of the Zeon ships and a giant ghost appeared in front of him, terrifying him as hell.

So Sarah is dead all because of this idiot kid called Katz. But seriously Sarah your still protecting Paptimus even in death!?! *Sigh.

Glad your crying now like a little bitch you are Katz. Maybe next time not to jump the gun and act you can do everything by yourself. Seriously someone should beat the shit out of this kid. And his voice is annoying the shit out of me. I've never face palmed a character that fails so hard.

It's a shame Hayato allowed this idiot to board the Radish.

Amazing episode minus the Katz.

Can't wait to finish this!

So what was Scirocco plan at the meeting? Did he predict Sarah would shoot through the wall, giving him a chance to secretly assassinate Jamitov?

Oh well, gotta take the good with the bad I guess. Also, I don't think it's a good sign that I laughed when Katz accidentally killed Sarah; that's what he gets for being a little bitch.

This is what I like to see. Plot developing, emotions in the characters/events, political happenings, great battle, etc. I think this was the first battle of the franchise to be fought mainly between adults and the political power and prowess adds to the excitement more than with fights between teenagers for me. It's cool to see that Scirroco and Haman are actually pilots and not just captains. I wonder if I'll be able to see bright pilot a mech. That seems crazy.

Not exactly sure when this show turned into Mobile Suit Zeta Gundamball Z, but i'm loving it. As expected, Haman's piloting skills and newtype abilities are completely insane, and Scirocco gave her a good run for her money.

Paptimus slayed Hymen! Jamitov won't be missed.

Paptimus v Hamon was super cool! Do agree with others thin that the Newtype/Oldtype divide should have been better explored earlier.

Katz is going to have a tough time recovering from that one. The moron goes off half cocked a dozen times prior and pretty much always causes hassle, it's time something terrible happens to him as a result.

Four more episodes, it really does seem Kill'emAll has been unleashed. On the plus side there's not actually many characters I like, so I won't mind seeing them go down. I know Char and Bright live, past that I've grown fond of Kamille, Emma and Hamon is awesome. Will be curious to see which, if any of those three make it. Really excited to see Patimus die!

Back to politics and betrayals! Just why did they choose to make a sequel with a different recipe than 0079?!
This was certainly the high point of the episode and among the biggest events in the series.

Nice joke from Jamitov, but what is he doing here then?

Mineva was so cute, speaking her own words for once. If only someone could take her and offers her a normal life... Dozle would have wanted it like this, I'm sure. I even thought at first that Char was planning to take her away from Haman and those Zeon. (he could felt responsible of her because he played a role in her family's demise and she is kind of like him and Artesia when they were younger).

Everyone hates Katz but he actually wanted to do something good in this episode! He tried to directly handle the situation, even Char had the same plan it seems. (by the way, I'm rather relieved that in the end one of the adults was ready to act against both Zeon and the new Federation, despite his wrong motivations).
Sara was... well I can't like how she chose to support the guru until her end while she was aware of the situation. If I compare this saving/killing triangle with the original one, I like Lalah's case a lot more because I accept the indian girl's reason behind her act while I can't agree on the follower/guru relationship presented here. Anyway, I suppose it was Sara's fault to be weak enough to end up like this, but one could also say her problem origin is the previous war.

The Newtypes pressures duel was stunning, it looked like psychic attacks. Both Haman and Paptimus are way higher than other NTs like Camille in term of battle usages of their nature. On another hand, they lack the communication/understanding skills and don't have as much precognition powers as the hero. In any case, Amuro is really obsolete on this plan (even if he might be on par/better as a pilot).

5/5

Why did it disappoint you? I found this depiction of consequences pretty interesting, this serie smade a point in showing that humans are often driven by illogical factors and that bad/stupid choices & behaviours had not an immediate negative impact on the acting person (unlike most stories with moral lessons). Kat's personal story is probably one of the most well build elements of this rather average show

As if the mistakes made by Kamille so far were not enough, now Katz also comes up. Not bad the twist and the subsequent firefight, the mecha Haman reminds me of the one used by Marida Cruz. Haman and Scirocco are really good as pilots, very touching Sarah's end, the narration in that franchise was really inspired.

I was disappointed because it made for a bad story. I don't mind that the characters had those traits, but I did mind how they kept on doing the exact same episode the next episode. Consequences force characters to adapt and grow, but Zeta Gundam did not provide consequences to most of its characters most of the time. They tend to grow in one episode out of every ten. It also raises larger implications on other characters when Katz is able to steal a mobile suit for what seems to be most of his sorties.

Katz has to go at this point. His selfish actions are gonna get other people killed. Maybe him accidentally killing Sarah will make him grow up. I guess Scirocco's goal from the start was to get close with Jamitov and then in the end he decided to kill him and leave an open position for himself as the titans leader by framing Haman for killing Jamitov. It's getting really good.

Jesus christ, I hate Katz. From my first watch all I remembered is that he was a total pain in the ass, and now I see why I got that impression. It's really a shame, because for most of his screen time he has been a pretty reasonable young man and a decently capable pilot.

Great episode. Even though dumbass Katz was front and centre again, the choices he made this time came with dire consequences. As much as I wanted to see him die instead, Sarah's death is the next best thing. As much as I dislike this series right now, I hope this episode becomes a trend in well executed episodes to finish the series off.

So, Sarah and Katz repeated the fate of Amuro and Lalah, I see. I shall also say that the NT stuff between Haman and Scirocco got a little bit overboard. It looked dope though so I'm not really complaining.

Jamitov is pretty dumb to go to Haman again after she literally tried to poison him lol.

Why did Gwadan explode o_o

I wonder how bad the security on this ship is if Scirocco managed to carry a pistol to a meeting with the main woman on Gwadan.

Haman getting blamed by Scirocco for killing the titans leader is the evil bastard moment he need. As he's been lacking in being imposing threat department. In my opinion.
