| It's about the past of Senji and it was damn about time! Quality wise this should get a BD but everything in here was perfectly well done. Senji's job and dedication. Senji's friends that are always cool with him and they were fun. What really stood is Senji saving the boy in the following, http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2010/7ac80279.jpg from those assholes of a gang. It was really nice and animation of blood burst out was fine. However that was just the beginnings. Senji looked really great and supportive of the family and all went fine until this fucking shit head appears in the following, http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2010/277801e6.jpg Can’t believe this guy is really as dirty as doing the following,  That fucking RAGED me so much. Poor kids dead there! Poor girl taking of them! BASTARDS! Lots shit like that passing through my mind as feelings. I was totally Raging as much as Senji was here in the following, http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2010/c2eeec41.jpg Words cannot alone express the rage of seeing kids of all die whether fiction or reality. In fact reality is worse! So as things went well, comes out that the gang leader from Senji’s old ties has powers of his own in the following, http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2010/767459c8.jpg In fact he uses a spider web and looks like anything in can get cut either completely or in a very very torturous way like the poor policeman here gets caught in the following, http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2010/8edf8795.jpg I though he was going to die but in thee end he comes out alive so it’s cool. That blood gushing and pain really made allusion that he was dead on the instant. In thee end one thing remained in the following,  SENJI YEAH! That was just amazing but disappointing he did not kill him the fucker and his gang killed a bunch of kids and a nice woman fucker should have been sliced. Sometimes it really should have the eye to an eye done properly. For what he killed, yeah it would be worth it! Definitely Excellent OVA once again! Less dragging than the series itself and oh yeah Senji with both of his eyes! |

| Watching Edit: 5 seconds in, who chases a guy who shoots at you while unarmed...? Finished watching, overall was pretty cliche, predictable and linear. However, it wasn't annoying to watch like the original series. Overall, a decent watch I guess, surprising that everybody close to him didn't die at the end. 5/10 |

| Amazing episode! Just disappointed that Senji didn't kill the bastard -___-! Oh well. Enjoyed the episode. Hope for more OVA's showing different characters past. |

| Nice OVA, feel sorry for Senji even more with that bit of his past revealed. Interest in reading/watching more Deadman just improved again. |

| I guess they save the moment for when Senji is thrown into prison for the possible second season. Although the setting and characters are mostly canon, the scenario was all anime original. |

| good episode. Looking at the ending credits this episode fills in the questions of the photo of senji with his squad. I hope they continue the series with everyone else pre-wonderland days and second season would be sick. Maybe I'll have to start reading manga for more of the story. |

| it was really good, and i think this could be a good stand-alone, or a one-shat without knowing anything about the orignal series. I wish they do a ep on each character's backround.... Also that guy looked a lot like owl and was similar to owl in movements. Anyone else think so? O.o |

| meh does even anyone read the manga this wasn't a filler or better Senji past is kinda wrong in the episode...but most of the thing were kinda right Senji was a police and everything well i wont spoilt but in the Manga there was chapter dedicated to Senji past. |
| I was happy to see a piece of heaven before my eyes...hot and smoldering, Senji-kun. I enjoyed the OVA lots and was sad to see the only girl who made him blush, Hinata, killed in such a way. He went on a rage but spared the guy at his mentor's calling. I seem to recall Shiro-chan made him blush too...Senji is just too smexy...in a yummy way. Hope we will see more OVAs as the manga presses on...not sure about second season though...who knows. |

So you can discover a lot of awesome things, that was skipped in adaptation. As for subject, surprisingly i liked this OVA even more than anime, but not so much. Whole time i was afraid that they would re-do Senji's past story, but this happened to be a prequel, to what was in manga, so phew. Ugachi Keigo was disguting character: so pseudo-pathos, but shat in his pants when realised that he's about to die now. Also, black nails are ewww... Yeah, and cliche.., What's the matter Manglobe? Where did your creativity gone? |

| Too much blood in a human body if we remember the principal char form the anime. Didn't understand how the guy was so fast and Senji couldn't see him but in the real battle he didn't even move... 6/10 |

| Just like a normal deadman wonderland We learn more about senji and that he actually had ideals and cared for people. We do not learn however how he got into deadman wonderland seeing as he was a police officer who wouldn't kill EVEN WITH REASON. Like most OVA this doesn't add critical information to the show. Also seeing as this is the only episode in the OVA, my 2 month dormant feelings about wanting a second season arise once again. |

| This OVA made me feel that Senji should've been the main character the entire time,then again,anyone else would've made a better main character than Ganta to be honest.The one thing I didn't like about this OVA was that it didn't explain how Senji ended up in Deadman Wonderland and how he got his little "phobia"(I guess it can be called that).But other than that,this OVA was pretty cool,cooler than most of DM's episodes,that's for sure.Btw,anyone else laugh at the bit with Senji just sticking up his middle finger at the officer out of nowhere? |
| I said it once, and I will say it again. Senji was a much better main character than Ganta was. Btw was anyone else watching this with headphones with very loud volume and jumped up when Senji smashed threw the dudes desk? LOL |
