Mirai Nikki has really turned out to be one of the standout shows this season ... while it's possible it could turn downhill so far it's definitely a must-watch for Fall. :)

Wolf's Rain is gorgeous and sad, just make sure you watch the OVA too since that gives you the actual ending (the series just kinda peters off without it ...)

Must watch:

Angel Beats and Higurashi no naku koro ni

I'm sure you will love both^^

And if you are looking for a sweet comedy show, Yuru Yuri is definitely a good pick.

Kobato and Shiki.

Oddly enough the 2 shows that I marathoned in the 1st two weeks of the summer.
Kobato is really cute and it is very episodic at first... but the characters are really adorable.
Shiki: Is pure awesome. Goes back to how vampires should really be. And they do it in a realistic way for how the town would react to all of this stuff.

I'd recommend Claymore. The action is intense and you really feel attached to many of the characters. The battles aren't too short or drawn out.

I'd recommend Darker than black and Steins gate. Although Darker than black does have a X men feeling at times, it has one of the most best main characters I have seen in Anime. Good pacing/good fights/good story

Fairy Tail. i guess you can say it's main stream since it's on-going, but without a doubt the best on-going in my opinion. the series works in arcs and even the fillers (maybe 2-5 episodes every 2/3 arcs) go with the main story. the characters are lovably and the series is just a blast to watch, enjoy! :D

I would definitely recommend Lovely Complex. Its really fresh and not some typical, perfect guy comes and sweeps you off your feet, type shojo. Hopefully you will enjoy it when/if you get to it. :)

There are so many Animes I would recommend on your list but I will go with 5 Centimeters per Second. You need a lot of patience when you watch it because it starts off a bit slow but trust me, you won't regret it. It is worth every minute you spend watching it! :)

Several good anime in your plan to watch list. Dont miss the Aria series (the animation, the natural, the origination) all 3 are actually one masterpiece.

Also very nice is Saiunkoku monogatari and if you don't mind some ecchi don't miss Sekirei and Sekirei pure engagement.

A friendly advice even though this isn't the topic : DO NOT watch Amaenaide yo! ;)

Nurarihyon no Mago. kind of the typical shounen where a boy is born with powers but besides that it is a pretty fun show to watch. there's a second season airing now so i hope you enjoy it!

@elitsu- Well everyone on your plan to watch list has not aired yet. However, there is good reason to believe that the Steins;Gate movie will be excellent when it comes out.

5 Centimeters Per Second - Fantastic movie. After taking a look at your list, it looks to be right up your alley.

Clannad (Movie) - Since you seem to really enjoy Clannad and Clannad AS, I'd say this is worth a shot. Thought it was pretty good myself.

FLCL - I think FLCL is fairly hit or miss, but I'd still recommend it. It's short and sweet.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood-Easily one of the best animes ever. Pacing, characters, plot, and action are all exceptional. Go watch it now.
Soul Eater- A decent shounen, one of the more funnier ones, yet can be serious when needed. Check it out sometime.

Evangelion 1.0 - 8
You're about to finish NGE, so I'm guessing you'll watch this afterwards. I would recommend you watch End of Eva first though.

Higurashi - 9
Definitely something you should watch.

Puella Magi - 9
Also something I would highly recommend.

Durarara and Shiki are great - I reccomend highly.
Mirai Nikki has only had two ep's and it's good, so it won't take long to pick up.

I was surprised at how good Mnemosyne is, would suggest you give it a go. Each episode is 40min instead of being split into two 20min episodes, but it works well with the storyline.

Code Geass - seems to be the type of show were you either hate it or love it, I personally love it and would recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

K-ON! - Watch the moe, embrace the moe, love the moe.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Let your mind be blown by the epicness.

Let's see.. Beck and Kobato. I thought Beck was a little slow in the beginning, but it got better. Kobato is just the cutest thing ever.

Oh god, long list - hope I don't get ninja'd
DearS - Good ecchi type anime with a pretty decent story line, very much like Chobits and Sekirei which you both gave 7s too so you would probably enjoy this.
FLCL - Pretty shot harem-ish story so if you dislike it you end up wasting basically no time anyways, which I highly doubt will happen. Definitely a great series in my book.
Heroic Age - It's story line and action scenes stand out the most to me along with character development. It is a bit different than most anime but still is quite amazing.

Ano Hana - It's really a heartbreaking story, and it's so cute. I really loved it so much.
Howls Moving Castle - I watched this yesterday actually. It had a very cute ending.

Bleach - If you skip the filler, it's an awesome shonen in my opinion. I noticed you gave Shippuden a 9, so I think Bleach is definitely something you should check out.

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu - Very fun slice of life and a great cast of characters. After checking out your favorites, I'd say this is an easy recommendation.

Usagi Drop - Sweet enough to give you diabetes.

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom. seeing that you're a fan of darker than black you should definitely watch phantom asap. it's basically the same elements but in a different location and time, have fun watching it! :D

Yeah, fillers really suck. I usually skip most of the Shippuuden fillers because i don't really find them relevant c:

I was actually just thinking about watching Howl's Moving Castle today, figured I'd do a movie day so I watched Princess Mononoke which was great.

As for your list I suggest you watch...
Chobits - Either you're going to absolutely love this or you will hate it, and hopefully its the first of those =D, pretty decent story - a bit ecchi but if you can get past that or is a girl who like that then it's got a nice storyline
Zero no Tsukaima - While being a harem type anime it still has a great story, when someone told me to watch it off my PTW list... my god I just sat down and then stood up only until I had completed the series haha.

Azumanga Daioh is absolutely a must see if you like random comedy series xD One of my favorites.

FLCL Is good. Don't expect anything that make sense though :)

Gintama: What can I say. check the "top anime" ;) Even though it shouldn't be that high.

One Piece of course... But try to stick with it until the arlong arc. There the story picks up ;)

Beck- shit beginning, picks up around episode 20. Then, I'd advise you to read the manga, it's awesome. It's so good you don't even need the music factor to make it exciting.

Naruto- skip the fillers, and you'll be alright. I love this show's cannon so much, I may give the manga a 9!

Nyan Koi!- okay harem w/ funny shit and talking cats
