| The first part of the test was kinda bullshit. If you got an official letter telling you to go somewhere for your test, then why would trying to do just that automatically fail you? It tries to teach you to not be naive, but at the same time the solution is to listen to this random captain dude and trust him completely. And those who haven't even been told by him also fail automatically. The quiz was fun though, even if the foreshadowing (having to decide which person to save) was a bit obvious. And the rest of the episode was great, too! It's fun to see that Leorio has a kind side as well. The trio seems to grow closer really fast. I don't know how the pacing in the manga is, but it seems pretty fast here. Which I am fine with, honestly! At least it doesn't get boring. These episodes seem to fly by in a flash. |

| It's great that they all passed the interesting tests that were put before them by working together and utilizing their specialty skills to cover up for each other's limits. Gon's fishing pole is a really good mobility tool, Kurapika's anthropological knowledge is vast, and Leorio being a medic that's better than the usual doctor were all very interesting aspects I've learned from them here~ Being carried to your destination by friendly winged beasts reminds me so much of Dark Souls lmao |

| It's very rare that a Shounen main character is this attentive, distinctive, observant, wisen almost allergic to retardation. I like this trope quite a lot. |

| Another sweet episode. The exams passed by really quickly and everyone played a major role in the passing of those exams. Gon's voice is really cute. I still can't get over it. This trio is really something else. Loving the show so far. |
