What's your favorite theme deck? Are you more on summoning creatures and loves wreaking havoc on your enemies? Do you love casting powerful sorceries and instants on your opponents? Are you more on controlling your enemies moves and favors counterspells and such? Are you a mono-colored mage or loves experimenting on multi-colors?

Post your favorite themes here. No need to post the actual deck though. *grin*

I'll start by stating my favorite...

I'm more on creatures, I find it boring when a deck doesn't contain any. I'm on knights most of the time, but ever since Kamigawa block came I shifted to samurai, then by the time Betrayers of Kamigawa came, I changed to ninja.

I prefer the mono-blue ninjutsu deck. With a little bit of control cards like cheap counterspells and bouncing spells.

The mono-black ninjutsu is also nice. But bringing out the big bad black ninja can be a bit pricey.

I'm more for the straight black re-animator. my re-animation deck has only 14 lands in it, and i'm considering taking some out since my mana curve is literally BB at the most.

On the other hand, my favorite deck that I love playing is my 5-colored dragon deck. it doesn't contain any of the invasion dragons, planar chaos, or legends dragons, but rather a couple of the kamigawa dragons, then a bunch of other random ones that i love to play with. that stated, my favorite card period is Dragon Tyrant. he's expensive, and he has a steep upkeep cost, but he's just so freaking badass when he's out there.

Wow, cast out a Dragon Arch, and you'll be pulling out those multi-colored dragons easier into play. :3

don't need. for starters, the viashino shaman from mirage severely owns that. secondly, i do better at just hardcasting since i generate a TON of mana with my deck. i never have issues with color or mana, and that's with like 21 lands...

They are fun to play and with Cavern of Souls they have become more viable in Legacy.

Since Cavern of Souls was printed people have been using 2 to 4 of them in Legacy top events.
