| More Natsume development, and also the introduction of a new character! I kind of hope Tanuma becomes Natsume's friend - I liked him from what little we saw of him. |
| Felt bad for the ghost that befriended him, she was just trying to make him feel better :( Though his reaction was understandable since it meant that he still hadn't found a human like him. Well that is until now. |

I hope Natsume meets up with the spirit onee-chan one day and apologizes to her for making her sad and lonely again TT____TT I know he was just a kid at the time and felt betrayed which is understandable, but she was a nice youkai ;~; The 2 youkai pair were hilarious when one forced the other to bow with him LOLOL So cute they left Natsume offerings on his doorstep <33333 |

| decent episode, got more background into Natsume's past. Lmao so the human exterminator was just a priest with strong exorcism skills, still was kinda weird that his son was acting all suspicious and sneaky like. I'm still confused on why he's deciding to return the Youkai's names to them? His grandmother obviously put a lot of time into it and i guess her goal was to amass as many names as possible to help coupe with her loneliness (i think) but whats his reason of returning their names? |

| Looking back, I think this episode cemented my interest in the show. The comedy, the introspective reflection, the soundtrack, and the art are all things that I just completely fell in love with. Loneliness is something most people have dealt with at some point or another, to different degrees. This episode just turned that feeling into something beautiful and relatable. This episode helped me a lot at a time when I really needed a way to help shift from a negative mindset to something more beneficial to myself and those around me. |

| That drunk Madara scene was comedy goldXD Who would've expected the frog to actually be important later on in the episode? Natsume has finally made a companion who can kinda see the yokai:D Tanima probably just has a low immunity so it's definitely not the yokai making him unwell. Yeah looks like Madara's not gonna have even one yokai as his servant when the Book of Friends is passed on to him. |

| Poor Natsume. That girl was also a youkai. Well, at least there's now someone else who really can see youkai. He's not alone. Drunk Nyanko-sensei brought Natsume a gift. His antics are one of the funniest things ever. Ushikao no Chuukyuu Youkai and Hitotsume no Chuukyuu Youkai are both very funny characters. |
