| I actually thought they were going to do what Bones is doing with the Eureka 7 movie. You know, the whole "same characters-new mythos" kind of thing.Shame, I wasn't crazy about the TV series, would have been nice. |

I'm still mad GAINAX pushed Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0 back 3 months to put this out first so they wouldn't compete with each other at the theaters. I like Gurren Lagann and all, but I would much rather see the brand new Eva over a re-cap movie any day. |

Not really, the RoE series is an alternate re-telling of the series with new characters and events, the GL movies are just re-used footage from the TV series telling the exact same story again. |
