Care to point me where I suggested you move to Vista? Before ever getting into this discussion with you, all I did was post Vista was good and you were the first in quoting me by bashing Vista, as far as I can remember.

"Shouldn't you be running Vista for that?"

I interpret this as an invitation to trying Vista because you would expect that I haven't.

What is the point of the argument anyway ? :/

There's no prize to win anyway, as long as someone is fine with whatever OS he has, it's no need to start an argument over the best one. Seriously...

Discussions on the internet always develop into arguments. No exception.

That was meant as a reply to this:

Come with your own test results, then we'll talk and compare them to mine.

To compare results, you'd have to run Vista as well.

Chavez, Kotori just wants some statistics for the development of MALU.
I think the other OS thread is more suited for discussions like this.

Windows Vista ultimate, now anyway. It used to be XP.

I don't like the Mac's GUI or how it just works generally, and linux is (somewhat?) too confusing to bother with at the moment for me.

Good this topic popped up, I'm practically being forced to use Vista (other computers got own'd) constatly for like a week and I'm sick of it. Seriously, confirmation after confirmation, error after error, bluescreen after bluescreen. It's like the 2nd worst OS in history, with Windows Me taking the 1st place. I'm going to do something about it soon.

You might want to turn of UAC and not be newb bro. When I used vista, I had like 1-2 problems and I didn't even do that much messing around.

Theonly problem I've had with Vista is my USB connector that I used as our houses Access Point, and It had to be hacked to do that. Vista is pretty stable for me.

Turning off UAC would be an ill-advised move. It's a security feature in Vista and it's a good one at that. It helps protect the user from having code execute under administrative privileges.

If you work the OS properly under a limited user account you'll barely ever see UAC prompts.

I watch most of my anime on my Mac. So yea...a Mac version of the updater would rock. :P

I've got two other computers with Windows XP on them, but I typically use the Mac because it's a laptop. That way I don't have to watch at my desk. =

I actually lol'd at the newb part. Of course doing so solves error and bluescreen problems, amirite ? I didn't have that much time messing around, just had to do my stuff, and that's all. And poof, I don't have to use Vista anymore, so doing anything about it would be for nothing. Thank the heavens.

That is the perfect description of Vista.. A virus. I'm serious, it is. I hate it so much, I have to use it at school for reports, and I always end up just waiting until I get home to do it..

I totally want to open a can of shit upon this post right here, and that's exactly what I'm going to do now.

The only way that Windows 7 resembles Windows Vista (technically) is that Windows Vista was an alpha of Windows 7. Hear 'em fanboys bitching at people for not liking an OS like Vista while it's quite obvious that they don't like it. Windows Vista hogs up memory like there is no tomorrow, it has more bugs than any OS is history, and it required you to have a computer of more than decent performance. Windows Vista and Windows 7 both went their own way and Vista, as everyone knows it now, is still an Alpha version with some bug fixes (in the form of a servicepack the size of several GB's). Windows 7 is now in it's BETA and the source has been improved a lot more, MS has looked carefully at the things they severely fucked up in Vista and corrected these things. The result is that Windows 7 runs about as smooth as Windows XP.

Compare your ass off with some less of that ignorance and maybe you'll be able to see the difference.

God, just how retarded can you gat? Alpha? Seriously, dou you think Microsoft would publish a product in it's alpha stage? When it has it's name on the line? Do even you believe what you write? And what in the fucking world is this shit about more bugs than any OS in history? Seriously, you could have stayed credible if you would have simply said "more bugs than Windows ME"(even though that wouldn't have been true either), but you just proved youreself to be a nerd- fashion victim.

Let me tell you something, douchebag: Windows Vista is the most stable issue of Windows I've ever used. It's far more stable and user friendly than XP, far more secure(if you even know what that means and why it's important), and far more reliable. It's only slow if you are retarded(which you are) and install it an a slow computer. Guess what, idiot: The RAM it hogs? It puts it to use! Bugs? Windows XP had the worst bug I can remeber! Any time Daemon Tools failed to properly unmount an image file, or anytime XP had a problem with taking out a CD/DVD, it brought up that fucking unremovable error message about missing volumes or some shit. And you know what? In Vista, it's gone! There are no error messages that impeed work, or any unremovable ones. You click on it, and it's gone! XP could never do that! So do yourself a favour, and keep your stupid, "It"s new and it"s Microsoft so I must hate it hurr-durr linux mac forevaaaaaaaaaaaaa11111oneone" comments to yourself.

Believe me, everyone will appreciate it.

I use Windows Vista, my old XP took a better beating of anime downloads and watching. (XP ran perfectly right to when it stopped working) I debate whether or not i should downgrade because of the risk involved in downgrading, even so, Vista has too many flaws when it is worked way too hard :(

Not only are you implying your own ignorance with this post, you should also retake any course in English that you had, or at least use a spelling checker. Besides, I only use Linux at work, and I use Windows XP at home as personal preference.

Go rant some more though, it's amusing. Though, next time you should read Wiki where Vista practically gets described as an unfinished Windows 7 (considering all the disadvantages of it). Not only has Windows 7 beaten XP and Vista on performance, but also proves to be more stable while it's still in BETA. Don't rant about stuff that doesn't fit in your field of expertise.

Stick that up your hairless flaccid asshole :)

What a comeback brother, what a comeback! I practically refute all of your arguements, and all you can come up with are grammatic errors? I'll just take that as your admittance that I'm right.

P.S. Just between you and me, and I seriously mean this, so you don't fuck up anymore like you just did, the next time you wish to back up your arguements with facts, make sure that the info you are trying to use for your arguement is not hosted by a medium which allows anybody to change anything in it. Now if you are so willing to tell me that Vista is an alpha build(seriously, what the fuck?), do try to come up with a page that isn't edited to death against Vista by hatefags like you(Hell, for all I know, it could have been you that edited the page).

Cheers 'yo:)
