The death of Toboe from Wolf's Rain made my eyes water. But it was noting compared to when I watched the ending scene with Chrono and Rosette from Chrono Crusade. I cryed like crazy for half an hour back then.

Oh my God, I'm such a baby, I cry during EVERYTHING. 07-Ghost, Tsubasa, Code Geass, Evangelion, Gundam, Kuroshitsuji, Nabari no Ou, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Air, Cardcaptor Sakura, Elfen Lied, Full Metal Alchemist, Higurashi, Tokyo Babylon, EVERYTHING. Usually during death scenes or when a character is really, really distraught.

I won't quote it to prevent more people reading it, but Yami_no_Serena, use spoiler tags.

Death Note

Persona Trinity Soul

This had me tear up multiple times throughout the series. It's a very touching anime, and it ensures that you feel for every one of the characters (almost). (:

Fruits Basket

This is a bit embarrassing to recall. FB was my first anime and I was 13 when I watched it. Akito's character captured me a lot and my sympathy (and obsession) for him made me cry on a daily basis when I wasn't even watching the series.

I could go on for a while. For an anime series to be successful for me, it has to provoke tears at one point.

I have yet to cry for an anime. However, I just watched Barefoot Gen and came pretty darn close. That movie hit me like the bomb it portrays, enhanced by the fact that it's based on a true story.

The ending for Texhnolyze was just inhumane - probably the closest I've gotten.

La Maison en Petits Cubes, like the montage in Pixar's Up that it so closely resembles thematically, put butterflies in my throat by the end of its ten minutes. A genius work.

And finally, a bit more superficially, Fullmetal Alchemist almost got me too, because THAT episode caught me completely off-guard.

The Earth King has invited you to Lake Laogai. You will be honored to accept his invitation.

Clannad After Story definitely made me cry. I think I shed a tear in each of the last 10 or so episodes. The endings of Gundam 00 and Code Geass R2 also were moving.

I'm not a person who cries easily, but there were some moments in anime when I shed tears:

Grave of the Fireflies

I felt awful after watching it, and I just can't persuade myself to watch it again.

Whisper of the Heart - No particular scene, I just cried at the end of the movie. It somehow made me really sad.

Gotten teary-eyed plenty of times, never actually went and cried:

Eureka seveN (many times)
FMA (many times)
Elfen Lied (once or twice)
Death Note (once)

Basically any series that can get me to do that ends up getting a higher rating here.

I'm a pussy, so I cry during most really sad endings. Elfen Lied, Five Centimeters Per Second, Grave of the Fireflies, etc. I may have cried during the ending to the first season of Gunslinger Girl, and during Infinite Ryvius, and probably other things, but I don't really keep track...

In Konjiki no Gash Bell!!, it's usually very sad when a GOOD Demon's book is burned and they're sent back to the Demon World. When Kid and Patie got sent back, I had to wipe my eye a bit. It was sad to see them go, especially after Patie just turned good and realized she wasn't doing anything by being evil.

At several times I just felt very sad during:
1. One Piece .. Kinda all of the stories from the history of the crew members .. they are all kinda sad ^^"
2. Naruto / Naruto Shippuuden

3. The ending of the first episode from Cross Game .. I didn't see more of the anime yet but that ending left me with a big impression ..
4. A few times in the Samurai X / Rurouni Kenshin series .. The story is just great ^^

I didn't cry, but felt sad when I saw the ending of Ouran. It just ended so abruptly.

I did tear up during Human Crossing. I think it's because the stories were real, but after you see the same character design over and over again you get over it.

Know a guy that cried during Shamo when Ryo gets raped. Funny stuff.
