I still listen to symphonic and folk metal on a regular basis though. Leaves' Eyes, Epica, Theatre of Tragedy, Sirenia, Within Temptation... to name a few |

| I like a decent amount of metal, but mainly from more mainstream bands: Metallica In Flames Iced Earth Megadeath Slayer Dragonforce MD45 For every good, musically adept band, there are 100 bands where you could simply loop a few of their bars and add a child screaming to simulate their effect. For everything that is wrong with metal (other than the ridiculously retarded genre classifications and arguments), look no further than Cradle of Filth. Their only good song is a cover. |
