When she is observing the fertilization of frog's egg, she suddenly wants to see how human sperms look like. She offers a handjob to one of her classmate Chihara and says "Could you give me your sperm? I need it for my research." Good job Japan, you've done it again. ![]() |
Considering that this is from the same author who has had titles such as "Picture Book of Vulgarity" or "Salmonella Men on Planet Porno" (which was actually a fun read), the synopsis doesn't really surprise me. I'll watch it because I know he's a decent author. ![]() |
CrystalLake said: sees that the author did Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo and Paprika - Oh wow this will probably be really good looks at art - That's a cute design but whats with the frog?? reads synopsis - ...Wtf?? My reaction. Frogs give me a bad feeling now because of Penguindrum, so I wasn't sure when I saw it. Then the synopsis... I know we shouldn't judge it yet, but damn it sounds ecchi and I don't usually watch that, unless it has a really GOOD plot. ![]() Modified by SoraKuro, Sep 25, 2011 5:52 AM ![]() |
I feel like if I don't laugh really hard at this, I might cry. But maybe it'll be like Astarotte's Toy and not nearly as much fanboy bait as the synopsis makes it sound. ![]() |
Crucio5 said: See? Here is the reason why cynical kiddies are the worst ones in anime society. u.u~~ I guess even authors of genious books like "Toki wo Kakeru shoujo" have to eat OO" But still, he could've written a quality novel instead of this trash. Also, this really sounds like B Hagata H Kei O.O People are getting things horribly wrong. B Gata H Kei?... HAH!!! Actually, I heard this is something that is much more close to Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo + Suzumiya Haruhi with more sexual imagery. People say 'dirty old man'. lol... He has ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT. Maybe people think that he only wrote just 2 novel in his entire life (Toki wo kakeru Shoujo and Paprika). It is 2 out of like 100s of Tsutsui Yasutaka's extremely satirical, hardcore, rape-fest novel that has already proven his talent. ![]() Modified by ringoo4, Sep 25, 2011 6:08 AM |
Wow, I didn't know Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo was from 1967. I found the art style familiar, and Itou Noizi apparantly also did Suzumiya Haruhi and SnS, I hope she's gonna be in the anime staff too. Anyway, that Bianca Overstudy is so unknown that it isn't even listed in the database. I'm excited about the man's previous works and Itou Niozi, but I'm not completely sure whether this will be a success or a failure, it also greatly depends on the anime studio of course. The only thing we can do is wait. ![]() |
*chokes on drink* . . . what. I gotta watch this. This has the makings of being something truly hilarious. ![]() |

am i the only one who , right after reading the synopsis, think about a trailer like: " From the director of Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo and Paprika.... [ insert jokes here].. academy award and novel author..... [ insert jokes ] ... the story of one girl , one desire [insert jokes] and so on " The whole post/news started so good to be true but when u get to read the synopsis I'm like wow i coulndt stop laughing. this made my day ![]() |

Then, I will use Korean translation link; http://visualarts.kr/m/2757633 Iwakami got promotion. He is basically taking over half of aniplex production, other half being Katsumata Hideo. He is the most influential person in Aniplex. Basically, Aniplex has planning, production and marketing sector all united as one. This united group is divided into two team, one being taken over by Katsumata Hideo, another being lead by Iwakami. If there is a project, Iwakami have control over basically entire process of animation production. ![]() Modified by ringoo4, Sep 25, 2011 7:23 AM |
At first it looked like a cute romance story, and then I found it was by the same author of Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo and Paprika. I fuck yeah'd hard then, then I read the synopsis....And my hope of this actually being a good, decent show diminished. That's one way to wake up in the morning. D; ![]() |
Sozora said: Wow, the art brought me in... looking at the synopsis... WHAT THE FUCK? LOL but hey, think Astarotte no Omocha, not much really happened lol I prefer comparing it to B Gata H Kei because that was lots better than Astarotte. The latter is just some random show about nothing and the first is at least funny, even though not really anything happened in that one either. ![]() |
Haven't watched The Girl who Leap through Time and Paprika although Im interested. But damn, the synopsis is mind-catching. lulz ![]() |
Oh yeah I'm definitely watching this. ![]() |
Calm down everyone... This could be like Astarotte no Omocha! It could be that despite the synopsis it actually involves little to no ejaculation of a man's liquids. Or Japan could have really fallen to this low. We'll find out when the anime airs. ![]() |
The first part and the latter part contradicting themselves. I don't know what to expect so I'll just pretend I didn't see this news and wait for the first episode to come ![]() |

It can't be that bad can it, look at the pedigree? It has to be deeper than that, man how the heck did Haruhi inspire that? ![]() |

Reading... interesting. Reading... impressive. Picture... cute! Synopsis... oh coo- wait...wtf? o_o Detective said: okay so I read the first two paragraphs and was quite impressed. The picture looked really cute. but what the dicks SOMETIMES, ANIME, JUST SOMETIMES ^Exactly. o.o ![]() |
Artwork seems great, but the synopsis is well...ummmm...interesting. rofl. I probobly will still try it just because how 'out there' it is. Plus he wrote Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo, so it must be great. (: ![]() |
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Paprika?! Yeah!!! *reads sypnosis* wtf?? ![]() |
Woah, had no idea Tsutsui was that old. Really adore his work though. Looking forward to this, however obscure the synopsis is. ![]() Like Japanese films? Swing by the Cinema of Japan club! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ |
I'm not sure what to think about this. It sounds interesting but in a "wtf...i'm confused" kinda way. i'll maybe watch it just to check it out. And yes Bianca...that is definetly overstudying. ![]() |
