Damn, I can't believe Nichijou is over now. It feels like I'm back to reality. Now, what am I going to watch for random quirky humours? There is second season of Ika Musume coming out this fall, but I'll probably never find a perfect substitute for Kyoani's ambitious project like Nichijou. :(

P.S: Please someone help Nano with the screw on her back T_T

This show really surprised me. I didn't expect it to be so good. Sakamoto/Taisho never catches a break though.

The return of Nano and Hakase's jankenpon made this final episode worth it. Looks like Nano finally won.

I think it was almost a little underwhelming, but when I think about it, it was a perfect ending to an everyday life. I just kinda wished that Taisho was found by Nakamura... *sniffles*

What a finish to this series. The jankenpon makes its return and a lot of stuff happened... including the hard pumpkin.

I'm touched by this last ep.
The ending was great for this kind of genre, and the last scene of Mio and Yuuko was like a deja vu (lol).
All of the character in this series gets their ending in this last ep. Marvelous!

I guess it was a sweet ending, but I don't think I laughed at all this ep. And Nichijou is all about the laughs. So I kind of think they should have ended with the last ep!

Anyway, although this show didn't have much in the way of character development or even plot, I really enjoyed some of the characters and the humour was fantastic. I'm giving it a 6/10 overall, which I'm still a bit unsure about (usually I don't give extra marks for pure-comedy shows) but whatevs.

Not perfect overall but I liked last 3 eps much more than most in the middle. Still, hope next KyoAni work won't be a moe-comedy.

Total for series 8/10 objectively but 9/10 from me.

What a cute ending. I think it was perfect that they decided to end it with Nano and her search for her identity.

Poor Taisho, or should I say, poor Sakamoto.

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

Mio-chan should really just give up on that pompous buffoon..

Asthmatic Principal and depressed Vice-principal bit was funny lol

Sakamoto-san's original owner WAS nakamura-sensei, who knew :P

Holy crap that Daiku kid rides a FRIGGIN BLACKBIRD PLANE!!

And Nano finally had the opportunity to have her key removed for good, but she kept it because, it's what makes her who she is. Awww <3

Overall it was a pretty good ending to an AWESOME series.

Im so sad that this AWESOME show ended now T_T

They HAVE to make an OVA

And so it ends, and Nano becomes proud of who she is.

The jokes in Nichijou have been hits-and-misses. Some jokes can be obnoxious and over the top at times (namely Mai, on some occasions). And then there are jokes that I could only expect Japanese literates to understand. That's all okay since the majority of the skits are absolutely hilarious. (Our enjoyment being proportional to their unfortunateness).
In addition, the natural artstyle and quirky characters are bonuses.

Bravo Kyoani, you've once again managed to entertain us.

Great show, there were some hits and miss on the sketches, but generally it was awesome to watch the entire run.
Ika Masume coming up indeed.

A fabulous series which will be remembered. I had many laughs watching Nichijou, 9/10 overall as those few last episodes weren't as funny as earlier ones.

Pretty much this. I had thought about giving the series a round 10, but the last 4 or 5 episodes fell short of my expectations. It was a fun ride indeed, such an absurd-driven comedy which bases solely on random jokes and characters' traits is a rare case. And for it to be actually funny is a real godsend - ever since Azumanga we didn't have a chance to see anything similar, that's why Nichijou needs to be rewarded for bringing about that very specific kind of humor.

Well, I'm rather disappointed that many of the subplots, especially romantic ones, didn't get resolved. Nevertheless, this isn't a romance series but a comedy series, and in that regard, it has been quite successful. KyoAni managed to turn around what seemed to be a disappointment to me into something I consistently enjoyed. Bravo. 8/10.

I eagerly await what comes next out of KyoAni.

For some reason I didn't find it as funny at the start, but I ended up loving the series and giving it a perfect 10. I guess this type of humor had to grow on me first.

The pumpkin scene would have been funnier (to me) if at the end one of them accidentally drops it lightly onto the ground, causing it to break apart.

A rock solid 10/10 from me.

Sure some jokes/episodes aren't as funny as others, but considering the length of the anime, I can't expect every single one to make me laugh. A majority of them did.

What's more important is the characters, voice acting and art. Even though I already know what's gonna happen in a certain scene, it's still fun just to see and hear them. This makes the series highly re-watchable.

Plus the soundtrack alone is godly.

Wait a minute.

Remember that part with the principals talking?

"Shouldn't principal SHINONOME's statue be here?" Or something like that.

Not the BEST way to end the series. It almost felt like just another episode. That said, it was a GREAT episode. I teared up when Nano's key started turning at the end.

Yuuko's cause and effect scene is simply clever and hilarious. xD

The same holds true with the pumpkin scene with it's awesome animation.

Nakamura-sensei as Sakamoto previous owner surprised me.I thought her previous scene with a black cat was just random lulz.

And Sakamoto choose the Shinonome's lab rather than his previous owner. I wished he met Nakamura before going back to the lab.

Also, what's with "Principal Shinonome"??? O_o

Another memorable slice of life series has ended. I wish there's more.

And Sakamoto used to be Nakamura-sensei's cat hahaha. I think he's better off living with hakase and Nano. XD
