Hmm...just a theory, but I think Sanetoshi and Yuri have some kind of connection. (They're both fabulous~! *shot*) I mean, maybe she's like his opposite or something, the one who's against fate. Maybe she already had it planned out, that's why she decieded to 'get engaged to' Tsubaki. That's why she didn't have much of a reaction when she saw what happened. Just saying, I don't think she's just a 'supporting character'

Anyway, I loved this episode.

Tabuki getting horny for Ringo, wasn't a dream at all. What suspious and amazing was Yuri reaction to the whole thing, she was very composed and sympathetic of Ringo. She always seem to be a step ahead of Ringo plans, which hints that she might have the other half of the dairy, especially when only half of the dairy was shown at Natsume home.

About Shouma response that he and his brother was to blame, I believe he was exaggerating. Its probably their parents fault, it does explain Kanba involvement with a suspicious group, maybe the father previously (or still) works for the Kiga Group.

-Natsume revealed as stalker, was kind of a let down.
-Ringo realizing her feelings for Shouma, a bit stale, now her personalty seem to fluctuate to tsundere from yandere.

About this episode...

1. Kanba already figured out that the stalker was Natsume and that she was the one who had the diary (well, half of it)? o.Oa How did it come to it? When was it shown?

2. The whole scene between Tabuki and Ringo was an act, no?

3. And WTF at the explanation at the end. o.O It was such a sudden revelation that I find it hard to believe.

Also lol at:

- Penguins XD
- Ringo's abuse towards Shouma XD

err what does her sister dying have to do with the 3 of them being born then? what's with Kanba, that other stalker and her brother?

and uh... how did that frog stuff actually work on Tabuki? who has the other half of the diary?

meh?

Pfft, I sure had some good laughs on this episode. Even though the first talk on the train seemed serious, I couldn't stop laughing because of the penguin. And when it started flying, I totally lol'd. Ringo's abuse was quite hilarious, too. And the ribbit-ribbit Tabuki, of course. God, the "scary face" and destroying the door was absolutely hilarious. And fabulous tea, oh god I love Yuri and her fabulousness

About the plot (...it's actually surprising that I care a lot about the plot even though I'm into the pairing - I usually care only about pairing if I like one, derp. I'm this kind of shipfag). So, Natsume's in the same situation as Takakuras after all, huh? With her Mario. Still, she's really obsessed with Kanba. Too many stalkers in this show, derp. I wonder about "that place".
And oh hey, we will finally know what connects Takakuras with Oginomes. Man, I can't wait for the next episode. Damn, I always can't (long time no see, this feeling), well at least for the few last weeks. Penguindrum, y u so awesome?
Also, Shoma, y u so cute? And the gloomy face at the train, fff hot. And the end card of course. Crap makes me go fangirl.

There's something about Ringo beating Shouma that really irritates me. I guess I'm not one for physical abuse that's used for comic relief.
I fuck yeah'd so hard at the frog scene. There truly is justice in the world.

1. Think about the suffrable memory lane Kanba walked down through. Who else could possibly have that many specifics in that memory lane? And if you still don't know, rewatch episode 10.

2. I wanted to believe that at first too, but it wasn't. Tabuki really did fall in love, but only temporarily.

3. I'm pretty sure the next episode will reveal it. You can view the Mawaru Timeline topic in this board and it will point out the fallacies in the series timeline.

1. Ah, I see. Yeah, I remember. I see the connection now. :D

2. Due to the potion? I don't want to believe that was the cause of Tabuki falling in love with Ringo.

3. I guess you're right.

Thanks for answering my questions! ^^

So Ringo, Shouma, and Kanba were born on the same day. Probably also at the same hospital since they go to the same aquarium too. We also keep coming back to that same hospital (Himari dying, Masako erasing that one girl's memories, Shouma's car accident). I guess that means that they were in the same Maternity ward. Not sure whether or not that's significant, but ma(ternity) war(d) sounds a bit like mawaru.

Good call on the ma(ternity) war(d) thing, it fits perfectly to the themes of the series too. I guess that's one of the title's meanings (then again, English being only a second language to me, I didn't spontaneously think about that) and would explain quite a bit of the script, project M, their past with the frequent hiospital flashbacks etc...

Apart from that, excellent episode with loads of developements and awesome direction as usual.

i feel like questions seem to be building up in this episodes =\ natsume-kanba scenes always confuses me, i couldnt seem to be able to collect all the clues and build possibilities of their past =S
and it seems like Natsume only have the FIRST part of the diary, which means, she's the one who took it from the hospital? and she seemed to know that she would only have the half part... and her hint of 'the important part...' which is likely to be the other part of the diary indicates that the first kuro-bike is not 'friends' with Natsume.

and what the hell is that Momoka incident, did i miss lines describing the incident in previous episodes somewhere?

and from the OP i found it funny how No.2 got his 'gas attack' in the subway while Ringo was desperate of Momoka's death due to gas attack in the subway as well.

in the end i didnt give this episode full mark, although the first part is awesome too =\ something seems to be lacking here. perhaps too many hints yet too many questions xD

glad that the chara drawing is not like that of episode 10.

A couple of thoughts:

- As far as the sarin gas attack goes - think about the penguin farting in the subway - "gas" attack there, of sorts... This was foreshadowing Shouma's eventual confession

- As far as the brothers and the sarin attack goes - I'm betting that their parents were part of the cult that planned it. So the boys were planned to be born into the "brave new world" that the cultists were planning for Japan.

The attack didn't achieve its goals, and the leaders were rounded up and convicted. The boy's parents likely were in hiding until recently when they disappeared, leaving the three kids behind.

And the twins know of their parent's history and feel that because they are to blame because their parents planned the attack for their benefit - thus the boys are the root cause.

The money may well be coming from the remainder of the cultists to support the kids.

Anyway, that's my speculation until we see the next episode - assuming that we get an explanation next episode.

Feasible theory. Also recall that particular "dream" sequence with "Hell" that Himari experienced. Especially the scene with the babies. It seems something else is going on...

You lost me at the parents being part of the cult group. If they really did any of this, then I don't think the children would be having normal lives at this point (what's define normal is being twisted now, but going to school and all that properly).

From what I think, members part of a terrorist attack would definitely not go out of there way to get themselves 3 children and act normally like nothing happened. To cover up for their "what if" they did, all of them would have a different identity. Pretty much from this, I don't see why there would be any point of going to say, "So Takakura isn't really their real last name?"

As for birth to a whole new world...the mother being at a hospital giving birth and the father going to do terrorism attacks? I don't see this.

Shoma x Ringo is official and i support it 100% maybe it's just me but Shouma's character design is pretty cool for a part-time comic relief character XD
but man that physical abuse must've hurt big time LOL we got another seizon senryaku without anyone falling down
watch as the mastermind behind everything turns out to be Yuri rofl or Tabuki but that would be too much for my brain and his acting would be amazing
cliffhanger ending yet again =_=

The brothers are such gluttons for punishment and the girls seem totally willing to oblige.

I guess it could have been bit more creepier if they didn't mention the love potion lasting only a day. Still think that Masako and Yuri are in cahoots though which would explain her approach towards Ringo.

Another great plot development, and we're only on episode 11. The show is really turning into something greater than the sum of its parts. "Find the magic item" show my left foot.

And to fuel the fire for discussion, does anyone else here think that Mario and Momoka are connected in some way? Or that one of the characters technically shouldn't exist and are thus altering fate in some way?

Flawless bluebro is flawless. (Or, rather, with the whole maybe-he-isn't-all-that-flawless-theory going around right now, not so flawless.) (Ahum.) Anyway, this episode is my favorite so far. Return of the frog porn, Ringo creepiness, and yet, Ringo's character development. If anyone is dropping this show because of this episode I am disappointed in humanity.

Also, Shouma's "What am I to you?" made my heart skip. I literally can't wait for the next episode.

Are you kidding me? That's one of the best things about the show!

Yuri seems a little too calm and composed about the entire thing, she's definitely hiding something. Frog Tabuki was creepy as heck and Ringo finally got what she deserved in that way. Finally she realises how wrong it all it... And it only took falling for Shouma to do it.

We need more Himari and Kanba though. Those two characters are the best of the show, although I think pink haired demon dude is gonna be cool too.

Natsume was saying something about a "curse from 16 years ago" as Kanba was leaving, so I'm guessing that's related to the incident that Ringo mentioned, and whatever it is that Kanba and Shouma's births caused.

As for why Shouma thinks his and Kanba's birth caused Momoka's death, I wonder if it's something supernatural though. Considering Himari's "dream" and her visit to "Hell", I wonder if that pink-haired Devil guy might have something to do with it.

I totally thought Tabuki's "love for Ringo" (the whole papercut scene) was Ringo's imagination, so I was pretty surprised when it wasn't.

And I support the theory that Yuri was the black rider who took the second half of the diary, which is why she's so calm, 'cause she knows about Ringo's plans.

During Survival Strategy, There was like the number 95 everywhere. Could it be refering to the Sarin Gas Attack in Tokyo subway on 1995? And penguin 2's farting might be a funny foreshadow there.
