I'm a bit confused because it was overall a pretty calm episode even though quite a few things happened. I am liking Tsuruume and Kuchiha more and more. ^^ |

| Good episode, I liked the fox a lot. I hope this show builds up some momentum for a good ending. |
| Don't really understand much about what's going on anymore. Where things seem to be going, is interesting though. |
| I'll summarize this episode to try and clarify it for you guys. - Toki and crew join up with one of Tadajirou's students to gather information before heading to their destination. - Flash back explaining how the fox became attached to the tree spirit. - Tree Spirit was cut down by humans causing the fox to lose control and go on a killing spree against the tree spirits wishes. - The large base of the tree spirit is stuffed with drugs and hidden (in previous episode). Shamon notices the shed gives off a holy feeling (aka. the Tree spirit's aura is inside). - Toki realizes he's stuck in the middle of a battle between humans and beasts/spirits/gods. He's trying to understand both sides without taking anyones side. You can consider him an ally to both sides. - Heihachi is attacked by the fox that inhabited the tree spirit before it was cut down. The fox is currently taking on the form of a human women. - Bon is looking for his missing partner, Tsuyukusa, who happens to be with Heihachi. In order to find him he goes to a gambling hut to meet up with a human that happens to be an escaped prisoner. Hope this helps a bit. It should get clearer in the next ep and the ep after when everyone clashes together in the same place. |

| Thanks for the explanation, DeathfireD, I was also a bit confused by this episode, but now I know what's going on again. Aagh~ I'm going to England Sunday, so I won't be watching Amatsuki for a while... Too bad, I really like this anime. It's a bit confusing, to me it appears to be a rather complex story bunched in a few episode. (And I just can't keep all the side characters apart). Nevertheless, I like the psychology and characters a lot, they all have an own personality and development. |

| This episode was pretty laid back considering all the things that are going on. After 3 episodes, Heihachi's fate is still dragged on. I feel like quite a bit of things were introduced in this episode that don't seem to be important to the main plot. Hopefully, it's just a more complicated plot than I perceived it to be rather than just a bunch of useless information. |
