Why Clannad is called Clannad

This is informational for all the peeps out there:

If you're here, you probably love Clannad, just like me! If so, there was probably a time when you wondered why Clannad was named as such. If not, then wonder about it!

Clannad. It means "family" (Irish), which is a major theme in Clannad. If you've watched both seasons (or played VN), I really don't need to explain.

Also another note of the VNs KEY made

Kanon= winter
Air = summer
Clannad= Spring
? = Autumn.

Why is Autumn missing?

Oooh. So that's what Clannad means. So it's Irish. XD
Thank you very much for this wonderful information! I've always wondered if the word 'Clannad' was just some made up word. :D
