| Hello! I'm Talon and I'm the host of this event! I'm still testing the new nomination and voting system and after this round we'll decide together wich rules fit the best for those contests. ----------------------------------------- This is the nominations round, where you are able to nominate up to eight list designs who you wish to be able to move onto the voting round. At the end of the two weeks, I will tally the nominations and put the top 10 most nominated members in the final round. In this final round you have again the chance to vote for the 2 listdesigns you like the most. With this you have one line with each design to motivate your choice (optional). The first 3 winners will be awarded ----------------------------------------- Nomination Rules 1. You can nominate yourself. 2. You can edit your post during nomination round if you want to change your nomination. 3. Avoid changing your anime list design if possible during this round if you see that you have been nominated. 4. Nominations end on July the 15th at 8:00-10:00PM GMT+2. 5. NO PLACEHOLDERS. Please spend at once all 8 points you have or at least 4 of them, you can change your choice every time with the edit button als long as the nomination round is open. 6. FOLLOW THE NOMINATIONS FORMAT LISTED BELOW FOR YOUR NOMINATIONS. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THIS, YOUR NOMINATION WILL NOT BE COUNTED. Some flexibility of course.. 7. Don't ask friends and such to vote for you design or at least not directly. When you link this tread make sure that you state that people can nominate their favorite design and with that not only yours. For those who are caught doing this and I have an evidence of evil (like screenshot) will be banned from the contest. Seriously, this is a contest depending on opinions about style, not about who has the most people who votes for them. ----------------------------------------- How to nominate - You have 8 points wich you can spend on the anime list designs you like. - You can spend up to maximum 3 points on a anime list design. - Special mentions can be made by giving a list zero points. What is Special Mentions? This is where you list down any members you feel have a good anime list design but you can't nominate them since you have no points left for them. You can list down as many people as you want and it is optional with zero points. Before nominating, it would be wise to look through other member's nominations and special mentions. Please avoid simply voting for your friends and such. This isn't a popularity contest. This is for the best anime list design. Have problems finding nice listdesigns? You can find the most recented updated listdesigns in this topic on the last page. also, look here for a summary of advanced list designs. Most users are that helpful and link their nominations with the names. I tried to dig a bit deeper to get you some of the more unknown pearls, too. 3 - Forever (only Kanon lists deserve 3 !! xD) 1 - De-JaY (great list) 1 - aero (the BG is awesome) 1 - unknowdata (I still love the simple style) 1 - cyruz (amazing black/red style) 1 - Moony (lovely list) 0 - divinecow (some parts are most awesome) 0 - LAH-Fragnostic (cool style) 0 - Sandgolem (nice colors) 0 - tainteddonut (it's the only Maria-sama list I've seen <3 ) 0 - ptdragon21 (pretty cool) 0 - Duketsu (awesome newcomer) 0 - SNDK (really great, but BG-image still too small) 0 - SanomA (great, but BG-image too small) 0 - mEdiApAcK (nice) 0 - Zarin (simple & cool) |

| I didn't see my name pop up until now XD it's not a rule but list wich already won shouldn't be nominated again since they already won. Ofcourse you're free to choose a design that already won but consider giving others a chance who didn't (ever) win |

| Important Rules are updated on the base that I see things happening (am I paranoid?). Rule 7 added and Club "Georgian Crew" is being watched on further activities wich are in conflict with rule 7 I'm a little sad... there goes my saturday evening for that I want to have a contest under fair conditions. |

| I still don't know most of the folks around here, but I've really enjoyed a lot of these designs. I'd like to point some people toward my first (but not lesser!) design as well, although I'm going to improve the tables and some minor stuff in the next day or so. 3 - saka (because blood and swords are awesome, and it's mine! xD) 2 - cyruz (great hell girl design, and I like the little stuff like png transparency in header and pulsing tab gif) 1 - De-JaY (love the style and concept) 1 - SNDK (also great; stylistic and functional) 1 - forever (love the kanon theme and use of image placement) ...and too many honorable mentions that have already been said, and likely a lot I haven't seen. ;) |
