| K guys, so when Otonashi confesses his feelings to Kanade at the end, all Kanade really does, is say ''Thank you'', I mean there Otonashi is pouring out his feelings saying ''I LUB YOU MWAH'' and stuff but, not once does Kanade say I love you back. This makes me wonder if she loves him or just thinks of him as a friend. I mean c'mon if you said I love you to a person and all that person said was thank you, you'd feel pretty dumb wouldn't ya? |

| I Believe she really did because during that scene if you recall she says if she said was on her mind she would be obliterated immediately (or so i recall) so even if she never said the words it was heavily implied (also the only one she showed anything whether friendship or more was Otonashi, and a little bit towards Yuri at the end, even tho that felt a little misplaced.), and another reason that i believe she didn't say anything besides the instant obliteration is because she didn't want Otonashi to stray from his original plan she wanted him to move on, and as shown in the credits he did... shortly after her. Also to add I do believe they met up in that reincarnated world, thus a happy ending and fulfilling their last desire to be together forever, and if they got reincarnated then everyone else should have as well, it would have been nice to see that but oh well. |

| if kanade said "i love you" then she will be obliterated in an instant since her passion is concluded so she didn't say it also if im not wring in remembering the last chapter, in the last time she said "thank you for loving me" isn't it? that can be count as a confession =) |
| I'm a believer of the reincarnation story. In there, they do get together through "My Song." I think Iwasawa doesn't really end up singing that song in reality whether she gets reincarnated or not so that's why there's a special connection to those who remember "My Song." |

| I don't know. I mean, I think she loved him for giving her a longer time to live in her other life, I think she loved him for being the first to accept her and help her make friends with everyone--I think she was grateful. She loved him for everything he had done. But I'm not sure if she was "in love" with him. There's a difference. I know she wasn't the best at expressing her emotions--but I wouldn't call it her being "in love" with him. Though I think that story will continue on in their next lives. And they will--at some point--fall in love with one another. |
